Directions

MICROWAVE

  1. Combine the contents of one packet and 5 ounces of hot water in a large microwave safe bowl. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Microwave on HIGH (100%) for 3 minutes, stir. Continue cooking on HIGH for 2 to 4 minutes or until thick consistency. (Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed).

STOVE TOP

  1. Combine the contents of one packet and 5 ounces of water in a saucepan. Stir thoroughly.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 6 to 8 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently.

    This product is so good. The flavor is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Makes a decent amount.This tastes just as good if not better than my mom's sloppy joe, or even Manwich. I poured water in and let it sit for an hour before cooking it. You could do so many things with it, stuff it in peppers, in lettuce wraps, pour over potatoes (or roasted kohlrabi), on a salad. Will be ordering more. This sloppy joe and the alfredo noodles are the best WS products so far, though there are many good bars and shakes too.

    I have tried adding different veggies to this and even some spice, but I just don't like the taste of it at all. Love the creamy fettuccine and the cheesesteak macaroni!

    I create a veggie stew with this yummy product. I cook the Sloppy Joe mix with 8 oz of water, then add 4-8 oz of low-calorie tomato soup. Then, I add low calorie veggies like spinach, red/yellow bell peppers, onions, and diced water chestnuts (for lots of crunch), and heat it all up. This makes a large, 300 calorie meal that is totally filling and satisfying. Because I like things spicy and sweet, I add splenda and sriracha sauce to taste!
