For something that starts out as all powder...wow. The 'meat' in the chili is a passable substitute and the actual taste is a little odd at first, but by the end I didn't mind it at all. This defintely isn't homemade chili, but a surprisingly tasty lunch. It actually has a little kick to it too. I will buy it again. This is not an 'onthego' lunch, you do need a microwave.

Very satisfied
by Robin on 3/18/2008
I ditto Mollyミs comment below. I was very satisfied with this meal. After the chili cooks, if you add 1 to 2 tablespoons of shredded sharp cheddar cheese, itミs perfect! (25 to 55 calories; depends on the cheese; low fat, etc). If you have a nice green salad (1.5 cups) with 10 grape tomatoes and two tablespoons of Kraft _Light Zesty Italianヤ dressing (approximately 50 calories for all three), youミve got a wonderful combination and a delicious meal. Total calories, 200.

by FAR the best!
by Natalie on 5/24/2008
I eat this EVERY day for lunch. I add a T of diced tomatoes along with some chili powder & cumin and savor every bite. Compared to other "diet" chilis...this is by FAR the best!
Excellent chili! A daily staple!
by Lisa on 12/22/2008
This is the best! I eat it every day for lunch with a big hearty salad! It hits the spot with its spicy flavor. Be sure the let it sit for a while after cooking and also to measure the water appropriately so you get the best possible texture. It will thicken and soften over a few minutes. SOOOO YUMMY!
very good very
by misj on 3/14/2009
best when cooked on stove with a lil extra water sum chili powder, chopped garlic, red pepper, 1/2 cup black beans, 1/2 cup diced tomato and of course hot sauce and black pepper sooo good, and with the extras its still only 180 calories. and with the extra water sometimes i cant finish it all. i will def be ordering again!!!
Wonderslim Vegetarian Chili
by Sandra K on 3/22/2009
This is a good product but tastes much better when extra beans are added. I drain canned pinto beans and add half a cup - this also puts more protein in. After cooking, I add some chopped onions and a small sprinkling of shredded cheese - good and filling. I cook this on the stove top - bring to boil, then lower heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Being a vegetarian I love this product.
Great topping
by Becki on 4/29/2009
This chili is very tasty on it's own, but it is so yummy as a topping on winter squash. It would be good on a baked potato also.
by SCarr on 5/3/2009
I love this stuff! Spicy enough to make my nose run a little. Very satisfying and sooo convenient!
by DebS on 10/7/2009
I am continually amazed at the foods I receive that are absolutely tasty and filling. This chili is great with a zing of spice. The chili is a nice, comforting food which my husband even likes. I highly recommend this product.
Very Good
by Califgirl on 1/8/2010
This is really good chili, not at all spicy to me, so to kick it up I did add hot chili powder. It is also great with just a bit of black beans. Much, much better than Medifast Chili, that costs much more money. Another must try, for any chili lover.
Sooo much better than medifast chili!
by Dom on 1/17/2010
I hated medifast chili... So much that I gave away boxes of the stuff. I was scared that this chili would have the same result but couldn't resist trying it anyway.

This chili is worlds better than the medifast kind, it cooks up nicely and doesn't remain dry, hard, and chunky. Its very well seasoned and just spicy enough to satisfy. I highly recommend it and will order again
by Cla on 2/12/2010
I love this product. After cooking it on the stove top, I pour it over some cooked ground sirloin. Try it. It's great.
Love it.
by Margie on 3/12/2010
This is my favorite meal. It has a great taste and just the right serving size. I am ordering this again for sure.
by AngieBaby on 3/12/2010
Definitely better than the Medifast chili. Lots of zip in this version. I also like to add a little hummus into it after cooking. Delish!
One of the best meal options
by nicmz1772 on 3/20/2010
This is really good. I just finished a bowl. I added a half cup of chili beans (kidney). Real good, if I wasn't on a diet I would have ate it with crackers....I can dream!
by Moni64 on 4/11/2010
We were surprised and pleasantly so with this chili. It has a great flavor for a low carb/diet product. Just add a little chili powder, a bit of diced tomatoes and a slice of low fat cheese and it's a great meal anytime! Love this chili!
Look out Wendy's!!
by Dr. C. on 4/15/2010
Scrumptious!! No need to doctor this one up! It is spiced to perfection. The portion is quite small, so savor every moment. I found that slowly simmering this entree on the stove top is a much better preparation method than microwaving, as microwaving does no justice to the few beans that are in this entree (the beans stay pretty hard and dry when microwaved). Also, the cooking time is much longer than stated in the directions on the package (6 to 8 minutes is not nearly enough time for rehydration and obtaining a satisfying texture).
Pleasantly surprised
by honeyb on 6/23/2010
I was a little hesitant to try at first, but boy am I glad I did. I added a little fat free cheese, a tsp of fat free sour cream and I really felt like I was EATING something. The taste is great and the benefit of the protein makes it even better. Will purchase again.
by White on 8/31/2010
This is very tasty. I put all 5 packages in a large pot with water, green peppers, onions, diced tomatoes, garlic, chilli powder, black/red pepper, (along with 2 packages Spicy cheese n pasta)simmer for about an hour, divide into 7 freezer bowls (into the freezer) and grab them for lunch or dinner on days when I haven't had time to plan meals.
This Zesty Meal Hits the Spot
by jenniferlynne76 on 10/16/2010
Nice, balanced chili flavor with just the right amount of kick, this hearty meal will warm you right up. As with the other Wonderslim entrees, I start with boiling water to reduce the microwave cook time. Thickened nicely and the meat and beans softened perfectly. Not sure I'd even know there were soy crumbles in this one if someone didn't tell me. Not chewy at all; the texture is that good! A great addition to the lunch or dinner time rotation.
Great Chili & Beans; cook it right!
by Bruce Joel on 1/4/2011
This is a great entree, but you'll have to mess around with cooking times to get it right. I tried a few ways & then found this following perfect combination. I use 5oz of water (not 6 too watery). Add hot water to the mix, stir & then put in the microwave for 8 minutes on 30%. It cooks perfect & is yummy. Highly recommended!!
Vegetable Chili w/Beans
by EAH on 1/14/2011
Filling lunch portion of chili. Nice flavor.
Better than I expected
by Ashland on 1/17/2011
Well after my terrible day yesterday with the tomato Soup, I was worried about the Chili.. But much to my suprise it was Yummy.. I did add a little of my own Chili Powder but it was GREAT. I have learned that cooking all these on the stove top and allowing to simmer a little while helps with flavor and with cooking down the onions.. Im not a onion fan, I dont really like the texture.. So if I simmer on the stove they cook down much better.. and the Microwave was making a mess for me..So I make a few meals ahead of time and store in fridge. I will be eating the Chili again.. and the Chicken Noodle Soup.. They are on the top of my list so far..
by Rhon on 2/1/2011
I love this chili. It has a very zesty flavorful taste to it. I do add some crackers, and it fills me up. I look forward to having it for dinner.
Loved it
by Mountain Girl on 2/22/2011
The chili is really good. Of course I added a bit of cayenne. But don't let the picture fool you, it's more like a chili soup. Sipped most of it and had a little chili in the bottom. Still loved it.
Zesty Vegetable Chili with Beans
by Jenny on 4/8/2011
I first tried this when it came to me as a sample. I absolutely loved it. Now I eat it almost every day. Love, Love, Love it! You do have to play around with the amount of water you put in versus how long you cook it because every microwave is different. If I follow the directions, my has almost no liquid left. But, what I do to make it come out with the right consistency is mix 7 ounces of water (not 6 ounces) with the packet, and I cook it like the directions on the box say. It is a small portion, but I have come to realize that it does fill me up. I usually do add some cheese on top and sometimes some black pepper. But it's good even without adding anything. This is one of my favorite foods on my low carb, high protein diet!!!!!
Excellent Chilli
by CJones on 4/17/2011
I don't care what anyone says this chilli is good. My husband and I are really good cooks, and my husband is very picky about what he eats. I made him a bowl of chilli but I spruced it up a little with garlic powder and accent, my husband loved it and when I told him it was only 100 calories, he begged me to order more. It's my go to meal when I want something warm in my belly, and its filling. I totally recommend it but its best to spruce it up a little and let it simmer to soften the beans.
I am shocked to say this was DELICIOUS!
by m1l1ca on 5/24/2011
I bought one box of this chili based on the positive reviews, but honestly not expecting much. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised...this chili was delicious! The only thing I added was a tiny amount of salt and some black pepper. I also cooked it a little longer to soften the beans. Chili is one of my comfort foods and this was a nice substitution!
Great chili! Loved it!
by JGibson on 6/8/2011
I love this chili! I read where somebody said they added less water because it was more like soup, so when I had my first bowl, I first sauteed onions and bell peppers with pan spray (very few calories in onions and bell peppers), then added this to the chili once it started to simmer. I also added a small amount of chopped tomatoes and just a tad bit of packaged chili seasoning. This did the trick. It took care of the extra water and added tons of flavor to this chili. I eat this a lot and have since ordered additional boxes.

WonderSlim Protein Diet Chili w/Beans
I absolutely love it!
by Sandra on 7/5/2011
When I came to San Francisco (I'm from Germany) I gained more than 20 pounds, because the portions are bigger here, than in Germany. So this product helps me with portion control, it doesn't have many calories, it makes me full (I usually eat 2 portions for lunch = 200 calories) and it tastes so good! I mix it with Liquid Aminos (you can buy it at Whole Foods), so it's a bit more salty.

So I lost almost all the weight again :)
Love this spicy chili!!
by Bethie on 8/1/2011
Nice and spicy...exactly how I like my chili...no funky flavor, good texture. I love to add low carb veggies and/or tomatoes to this for more volume. Alone, it is not really a lot of food. (Updated on 8/2/2011.)
by Amy on 8/3/2011
This is the BEST diet chili I've ever had. It doesn't taste or look like it's missing a thing! Smells wonderful with just the right spices and oh so filling!!!!
by FunFood on 8/14/2011
This chili is EXCELLENT!!! I add some spices to it and it is impossible to tell that it isn't vegetarian or only 100 calories! This is a must have.
WonderSlim Protein Diet Chili w/Beans (7 Servings/Box)
by Shark on 9/13/2011
Very tasty, especially when I add mushrooms and jalapenos to it while it cooks. Not to much as portion size, but the more you add the better it is. Alone it is still tasty and one of my fav 5's
WonderSlim Protein Diet Chili w/Beans
by Agi on 9/14/2011
Loved it, and felt full
by on 9/20/2011
I'm not a big chili person but this product is great! Good flavor, not bland at all. Paired with a cup or two of veggies on the side, it was plenty to fill me up and keep me satisfied. Would order again!
I loved this !
by Betrimsoon on 11/7/2011
I gave this a try with my 8 week kit. It was delicious. I am pleasantly surprised with the good taste. The beans were perfectly cooked, not mushy, not hard. The texture was great. I loved the spicy-ness of the chili. I recommend this highly!
by DeeW on 11/17/2011
Excellent chili, I was very pleasantly surprised. Just be sure to use a bowl about 4 times bigger than you think you need because in the microwave it will boil up high. I also add more water than what it calls for. Maybe my microwave is too powerful or something, because if I use the amount specified it is too dry and has no liquid left. So I use almost 8 oz. of water. This is my husband's favorite entree.
by JScherer on 11/20/2011
I wasn't sure how this was going to be, but I am pleasantly surprised! It really was yummy, good texture and had plenty of spicy! Definitely going to re-order!
Use your starch!
by Bep on 11/24/2011
I find these products taste best when cooked stove top whenever possible. I added a little extra filtered water, chopped in tsp. onion & tsp. red/green pepper. I then used my starch for the day, serving the chili over 1/3 C brown rice. Delicious!! (Updated on 11/25/2011.)
Chili with beans
by Don on 12/5/2011
Great taste but I add more chili powder and a little paprika. Just my need for it to be bit more on the hot side
by MelB on 1/6/2012
Amazing doesn't begin to describe this. I have been so picky about eating protein enriched foods since my sleeve surgery 4 months ago. I have thrown out almost every product I have tried. But this one hits it out of the park. I love this and have been consuming it every day. After buying one box I have reordered 12 more boxes. It is a bit spicy to me, but I am super sensitive to spice and I can handle it. If I do not want any spice I make up this and the vegetarian joe and then mix them and eat half, and package half for the fridge. It also withstands reheating great.
by Blondie on 1/17/2012
Cooked on stove top its delicious! I put it on top of 1/2 cup of brown rice, and it is way filling! Just enough spice, not too spicy and not too bland.. PERFECT!
Excellent chili for a diet
by DMC on 1/20/2012
I love this. With a little extra water, some seasoning salt and hot sauce, its ALMOST as good as my homemade. ALMOST. But it definitely makes you forget you're on a diet. I'm sorry but I have to eat two for a meal. Still only 200 cals so I don't worry. Need to order more for these cold months.
Great as a dip
by Georgia Peach on 2/13/2012
Mixed up a package during Super Bowl and enjoyed it with a bag of Wonderslim cheddar chips. Did not feel deprived eating my chili dip and chips. Chili has great flavor. If you like more spice, add some chili powder.
Good and a little spicy!!
by Denise on 2/20/2012
Great taste and a little spice. Add to Mac and Cheese for chili mac on those days you feel you need a little more food. Add some chopped jalapenos peppers for an extra kick.
vegetarian chili
by Jenn on 2/21/2012
This chili was simply fantastic! Very easy to prepare and despite the fact that the serving is not very big, it is very filling! I added an ounce of cheddar cheese to it and it was delicious! Add a nice green salad to it and have a delicious filling meal! After having this chili I ordered 2 more boxes and I plan on stocking up on more wonderslim products as well. Thank you for your delicious healthy products!
One word for this...
by MJG on 2/24/2012
Love it very tasteful and satisfying
by tmj on 3/4/2012
Great alone or mixed with the vegetarian joe. I also add morning start soy crumbles to it for a meat substitute. Great!
zesty chili
by anna on 3/22/2012
Simply delicious! and lots of protein to keep you satisfied. I usually cook this on top of the stove in a small pot instead of the microwave, the beans cook better that way. I sometimes mix with rice or over a potato. I also enjoy it over greens with ff sour cream for a great taco salad. Enjoy!
Love the chili
by Anne on 3/29/2012
Fast, easy, delicious. Fun to eat, and will try mixing it with some ground beef and a little tomato sauce for a dinner one night. It's comfort food. I miss beans when I do low carb, and this does the trick.
Very tasty chili
by Courtney on 8/6/2012
This was one of the first entrees I had on the program, and I was very happy with the taste. I thought it was on of the better chilis I have ever had. I will be ordering more of this chili in future orders.
Oh, so good!
by Tucson Gramma on 8/14/2012
I love this Chili. I have been on Medifast and I've eaten their chili and Diet Direct Chili is far better. The flavor is so much more. In fact most of your products are way better. I'll order this one over and over. Thank you.
Very Tasty Chili
by NeeCee on 8/14/2012
Very tasty and very filling even though portion looks small
Good tasting vegetable chili with beans
by jjones on 8/14/2012
Pretty tasty for a packaged chili. Filling, despite the fact that the serving size looks small. If you find the beans too hard, I find that if I add another oz. of water and cook for an additional minute or two, that will solve this problem.
Great change of taste
by Pat on 8/14/2012
This was a real pleasant surprise. Was not sure I would like the chili taste, but I find it so refreshing and good. It sure beats the ordinary diet food.
by KIM on 8/18/2012
GREAT TASTE and what a better way to dress up a salad and make it more like a meal! I always use limes as my dressing and add a smidge of shredded cheddar then my chilli.... yummy southwest salad!
take the 8 min and make it stove top!!
by CHANTAL on 10/19/2012
This chili is so delicious!!! I crave it everyday. I make it on the stove and add some salsa then bring to a boil ten reduce to thicken. After add a slice of cheese and some sour cream with a few crackers . A great lunch for everyday.

P.s I have lost 40 lbs with the help of wonderslim :)
so good!
by Jackie on 11/20/2012
This chili is sooo good. I use one ounce less than is told on the directions and its delicious! I keep ordering more. Its only 100 calories!
Absolutely LOVE this chili!
by lizzie0104 on 12/28/2012
This is the best! I use 1 ounce less water than what is called for. I also let it set for about 30 minutes before I cook it so that the beans soften up and then I add about 1/2-1 ounce of extra dries soy (TVP). A little grated cheese. Yes, I'm addicted to this also. :D
WonderSlim Chili with Beans
by Danielle on 1/14/2013
It a small quantity but and it fills you up... very tasty ...
Very Good
by Lisa on 1/14/2013
I liked this meal. Very small portion but filling enough. Sometimes I will add lettuce, salsa and a sprinkle off cheese and sour cream to make a small taco salad.
Very tasty!!
by Petrina on 3/12/2013
This is delicious, seriously. I was on Medifast and their chili had to be worked on and doctored up so much. With Wonderslim I just added the six ounces of water, a little hot sauce and microwaved for 3 minutes and let sit for around 5 minutes. I was really impressed, will be ordering again. Ate with a salad with veggies and what a meal. You can add more lean meat also to it which I'm gonna try as well but alone its just as good too!!!
Love This chili
by Moselle A on 5/2/2013
Just ate this chili, and man it is really GOOD! I wasn't sure about it, but once you get it cooked up, it is really delish. Just the right amount of heat and chili flavor, consistency, this is a keeper for my desk at work. I ate it on it's own, here at work, and I really like it. My journey is a lot easier with food like this.
Wonder Slim Chili /Veggie Joe
by Allyson on 6/25/2013
Ok, all I can say that both of these taste great!!!! I eat them seperatly and some times together. I also add my onions, green peppers and hot peppers. The best, I have yet to be tired of eating these items.I have been eating these entrees for for two months straight!!!
Very tasty
by nancy on 7/26/2013
Except for the beans I cant tell much difference from this and the Veg. Joe. Love them both. I sometimes add a spoonful of salsa after cooking - have with a half bag of cheddar snacks and it is almost like having chili and chips.
Chili without guilt.
by Diane on 8/18/2013
I was really surprised this tasted so good - it didn't look that good so I was apprehensive but wow it was spicy and good and left no after taste like some diet products do. I add 1 teaspoon brown rice, 2 ounces. of chicken or chopped turkey and 2 teaspoons of a veggie and this makes one good satisfying yet low calorie meal.
Good stuff!
by Stephanie on 8/24/2013
I put this over some lettuce with a bit of salsa and low fat sour cream and it's quite good for diet food :-)
by Rosalind on 9/20/2013
Have used Medifast & Jenny Craig before & learned to pour chili over lettuce. Makes a very satifying meal. I also add either chopped fresh tomatoes or half a can of tomatoes.
Cured my chili craving
by Kelly on 11/3/2013
The chili was good! I was worried about texture bc I have texture issues with some packet meals.... But the texture was fine and flavor was good. I added diced raw purple onion.
by Kimberly on 1/16/2014
I was surprised this was very very good I want to eat two packets
Mighty fine chili flavor
by Duane on 6/19/2014
This chili has plenty of flavor. My favorite of the meal replacements.
Favorite of the WonderSlim line
by Shannon on 7/23/2014
I am a huge chili buff and I never thought I would care for a chili I had to add water to and nuke. I was wrong. With limited time for lunch at an office job, I am quickly able to make a delicious chili in just minutes. Its filling and I get all the protein I need!
by karyn on 12/5/2014
If I am really hungry I mix 1 packet of chili with 1 packet of Vegetarian Joe. Really fills me up and tastes so good on a cold winter day.
I like this chili.
by Joann on 5/25/2015
It tastes much better than the Medifast Chili.
by Kathryn on 9/12/2015
I add diced tomatoes and some ground chicken, and, its wonderful.
Tastes like chili
by Allyson on 11/3/2015
This is one of the better items I've tried. It looks like ground beef and tastes like chili, and that's good enough for me. Just spicy enough to be interesting, but keep in mind I'm a total spice wimp.
by Banditdarts on 2/25/2016
This is one of my favorites!
Could eat it every day!
by Sunflower on 11/8/2016
Very tasty and filling!
chili with beans
by cheryl on 5/6/2017
Wow what a perfect chili. and the smell gets you right in the mood for a bowl and it really tastes good
Very good!
by Jane on 8/21/2017
Great taste. I add a little sour cream. It's great by itself or over lettuce and tastes like a taco salad!
by Gabrielle on 11/8/2017
I am a big chili fan. I have entered contests with my chili and I know what flavors work. For being a diet product this is delicious. Every wonderslim product I have bought has been amazing!
Not bad really
by BatSheva on 1/27/2009
The only thing wrong with this dish is that there are very few beans and the two in there are mushy. But other wise if you soup it up like the others are saying it isn't bad at all.
I like it.
by Diana B on 4/22/2009
I added a little chili powder and I enjoyed this product. It didn't taste like diet food, just like normal chili.
WonderSlim Diet Chili with Beans
by TG on 1/19/2010

Zesty Vegetable Chili w/Beans
by BooBoo on 2/26/2010
A really good diet chili! I gave it *4* stars because the portion is a bit small but overall a good entree. I would buy it again!
This was really good...
by KittenKC on 3/26/2010
I cooked it in the microwave...

it was spicy enough to make my nose run a little bit!

I had to resist the urge to add my 'normal' chili fixin's...ie - cheese, sour cream...lol

And no crackers, but very satisfying! Will definitely order again.

Portion is TINY but taste is pretty good
by JakeandDana on 10/10/2010
I like this, it's spicy but not too spicy, and the texture is good. It's a tiny portion though, so try and stetch it out by adding other veggies.
Very tasty, but spicy!
by Cheryl on 11/14/2010
This chili is very tasty...but phew! It's spicy! I find it has the same texture as the vegetarian sloppy joe, but spicier and with beans. I suggest soaking it for up to half an hour if you're using the microwaving method to reconstitute the beans a little bit so they're not hard. I enjoyed it, though it did leave some beads of sweat on my forehead! :)
by Amy4 on 7/4/2011
I like this but, it's very salty.
Good chili
by Jan on 1/21/2012
Pretty good chili, I use a little more water than called for & I did add some Mrs. Dash chipotle spice to it. Very filling. I get it ready in the morning & have it for lunch that way it gives it time to soak up the water
by Ajblaker on 2/26/2012
The Chili tastes pretty great! I was surprised at how spicy it was, in a good way. Normally from a package, you expect bland tasting. Not this chili! I did have a problem with the beans cooking all the way, turned out a little hard sometimes. Oh well, I will still keep ordering it and eating it for lunch I like it that much :)
pretty yummy
by sha on 4/14/2012
I prefer the vegetarian joe, but this chili is pretty good. I think i will mix one packet of each together next time for a more substantial meal. I would buy this again.
WonderSlim Protein Diet Chili w/Beans
by karen on 8/14/2012
I really like this product. I always take the time to prepare it on top of the stove. I also add an extra 1/4 c. water and about 1/2 to 3/4 c. raw chopped celery, then cook it down until it's thick. The celery adds very few calories but quite a bit of bulk to beef up the portion size. I also prepare the vegetarian joe the same way. This product is very tasty and as always, the prices are considerably less than Medifast. One thing that would be helpful would be to stamp the product brand name on the "Try Me" samples because several of your companies make a very similar or same product but the taste may be very different.
surprisingly good!
by Cody on 11/26/2012
Definitely cook it on the stove and let simmer. i was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely order more. Don't look for too many beans... lol
great as a base
by Kathryn on 2/23/2013
I use these as a base for a more substantial chili soup and people rave about my chili. Really like it.
Wonder Slim Chili with Beans

Great flavor. Good texture. Nice surprise in a small pachage.
Very good for a change of pace from shakes
by Marilyn on 9/5/2013
I love the fact that it is something to chew! The taste is very good, a little too salty and when I look at the amount of sodium I'd like to see far less of that. I will buy it again.
by Carrie on 5/11/2014
I normally would make my chili spicier but it had a good taste and no after taste. Not many beans. Would make a good taco salad type meal.
Not bad!
by Tiffany on 8/6/2015
I was skeptical after reading reviews on this but ordered a box and had one last night and it was very good. I cooked it in the pan and added a little squeeze of lemon juice and topped it with 1T of fat free greek yogurt and it was good, filling and quite tasty.
delicious but hard to prepare
by Jane on 8/24/2015
I love this product and I've learned to prepare it at home instead of trying to "microwave it in a cup" in the break room as the directions state. No matter how big a bowl I use, it bubbles over and makes a mess. So at home I use a BIG bowl, then just re-heat it gently.
Really Good

This is one of my favorites. I add some diced peppers and zucchini for some more texture. A little hot sauce jazzes it up a bit.
Good Flavor, Small Portion Size
by Tony on 1/11/2009
I like the flavor and with crackers, it makes a nice lunch. The portion size, especially when you first pour it into the bowl is a bit underwhelming. Fortunately, the product expands a bit in the microwave and the portion size is reasonable, but not overly generous.

At 100 calories, it's a good snack. I would like a little more volume, a few more calories, and a bit more feeling full.

But the flavor is actually pretty good. (BTW, it has beans so if you're from TX, it's bean soup, not chili.) If you like your chili with some zing, grab some hot sauce or Tabasco because it's not that spicy.
Surprisingly good!
by Cmitch on 2/25/2011
I was a little apprehensive on trying this but I figured 'what the heck'. I've tried both the microwave version and cooking on the cooktop. I live at altitude so it is sometimes challenging to get beans to soften. Although the microwave was easy, the food EXPANDS so make sure you use an extra large dish otherwise you'll be cleaning the mess up. I prefer the cooktop as I can simmer it for awhile and then the beans soften. I added a pinch of lo-cal cheese and non-fat greek yogurt. It is very tasty and filling although the portion is small. I usually add some fruit on the side so I feel fuller and more satisfied. I will continue to order this and enjoy it!

I honestly have this vegetarian chili every single day! I am addicted to it and look forward to having it. The taste is simply amazing! It did not need to be "doctored" and I was pleasantly surprised.
A little disappointed
by Nyla on 5/2/2013
Only disappointment is with the portion size. I expected it to be about double. Very tasty, though.
Just OK
by sm62 on 12/5/2014
Not a big fan of this one. The beans take a good while to soften, and I have to add a few drops of sweetener or it's just too bitter to me. I won't get this one again.
good seasonings, gross beef chunks
by RACHEL on 5/2/2013
I noticed that the Joe, chili, and spicy mac all have the same weird beef flakes that I can't force myself to eat. i haven't lost much weight using wonderslim, and i think the issue is I've had to substitute a salad for my lunch as opposed to these options. I wish they offered a wider variety of beef chunk-free options.
too hot

Too spicy for my liking
If you Close your Eyes and Wish
by LMN Rancher on 11/19/2013
If you close your eyes and wish, you might think it is chill and beans. I think on average there were about 3 dehydrated beans in the portion. The portion isn't bad size, but I don't know what these other folks eat when it comes to chill, but it sure isn't chill.
Maybe it you have been on a diet longer than I have (4 months and 40 lbs) it might taste like chill, but I still remember what real chill tastes like.
It's no Vegetarian Joe
by AuntKitty on 2/19/2014
Just buy the Vegetarian joe and add your own beans. This product is bland compared to the Vegetarian Joe and just not as good. If this was the first meal I had tried, I probably wouldn't have ordered any others. Blah
Not my favorite
by LM on 4/25/2014
I don't like this bean chili nor the protidiet one- this one cooks slightly better so it gets two stars.
The WORST taste ever!!!
by TexasT on 2/6/2011
I got this and the Sloppy Joe mix based on the reviews here, and I'm sending both back. This chili is the most disgusting thing I've eaten in a long time. I could only take a couple of bites and the rest went directly into the trash. I don't mind soy products, but this was beyond nasty and inedible. Buy this one at your own risk. After getting this chili I really can't understand how anyone can eat it. I guess everyone has different taste buds, but I'm still shocked at all the good reviews. I'd give this a minus 10 stars if possible. Double Yuck!!!
not enough

Did not enjoy :(
by Lyn on 7/18/2017
So many of the Wonderslim meals are tasty and I had high hopes for this one. I found it to be bland and tastes awful. Didn't like this at all.
