It only takes a few minutes to cook our WonderSlim Hot Oatmeal in your microwave (or stovetop if you prefer) and it's worth the wait! You'll love the apples and cinnamon flavor, and since it's oatmeal, it's very filing.

Ingredients

Rolled Oats, Milk Protein Isolate, Calcium Caseinate, Potassium Caseinate, Fructose, Inulin (Dietary Fiber), Dehydrated Apples, Corn Bran, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Cinnamon, Salt, Guar Gum, Sucralose.

Directions

MICROWAVE

  1. Bring 5 ounces of water to a boil in a medium size microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add the contents of one packet and stir. Return to microwave and cook 3-4 minutes on MEDIUM (50%) uncovered. Stir halfway through cooking time. (Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed.)
  3. Remove from microwave, stir and let stand 2-3 minutes. Oatmeal will thicken upon standing.

STOVE TOP

  1. Bring 5 ounces of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the contents of one packet and boil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, stir and let stand 2-3 minutes. Oatmeal will thicken upon standing.

    pretty good... However..you MUST follow the directions...if you FOLLOW the directions and cook at 50% power it will not boil over ;)

    I added 1oz of extra water when cooking, this helps with the thickness issue and then added 1/2 tsp of brown sugar splenda to sweeten and an extra sprinkle of ground cinnamon. Excellent! (Updated on 12/28/2008.)

    Great for a quick breakfast!! I just boiled the 5 oz. of water and mixed, let stand a minute...voila! Instant oatmeal, and it's quite tasty.

    Tasty just the same however, the microwave time should be read as 1.11 minutes for 2-3 times as necessary, otherwise the oatmeal bubbles out all over the dish, microwave, etc, and then hardens.
