I add a bit more water than is suggested to make them a bit more of a crepe consistency. I have 2 almost every morning with sugar free syrup and find them filling and satisfying as well as delicious.
I'm going to buy this with my next order
by Patrish on 8/30/2012
Got a free sample of blueberry-perfect,enough for 1 serving-it's filling, moist, fluffy, sweet & tastes nummy-just remember don't cook it for long,I didn't even do 2 min each side like the instructions & watch it closely-I'm going to do like above, make it into a crepe & fill it with fruit mixed in light cream cheese & splenda-give it a try.
I Like it
by Donna Wright on 8/30/2012
The only problem I have found with this product is that when you have to eat so slow, it does get cold by the end. But the flavor is still so good I don't mind it. I put an ounce of fruit on it and then a little bit of low fat very low sugar whipped cream. It is one of the produts that I will probably always buy.
Great Pancakes
by Sue on 5/29/2012
I bought these after reading the reviews on it. I was not disappointed. For a high protein food and all the other advantages of it, I am greatly pleased. I will be ordering more of these pancakes!
Surprisingly yummy
by Robynpednurse on 5/26/2012
I was skeptical after mixing these up. They were kind of watery and I didn't expect much. But they did puff up and were really good! I use the Watson Farms syrup with a little butter spray.
Best pancakes
by JJam on 5/3/2012
This is very tasty with a great consistency.

I add Walden Farms calories free(truly) pancake syrup, and I definitely don't feel deprived! Very satisfying
Very filling
by MJG on 2/24/2012
These are great with a turkey sausage in it. Just like Mickey D's sandwich!!! Love it
Really Good!
by D. Marie on 12/26/2011
I eat these every morning with sugar free syrup. It's better than most other diet breakfast foods and it's low carb and has a lot of protein. It holds me until lunchtime. It makes a good snack too, especially if you want something warm in the winter.
Great tasting
by dlou on 4/17/2011
I love the plain pancakes. They have a sweet taste to them. I like the blueberry but it doesn't fit me as well. I would recommend both to friends but would HIGHLY recommend the plain pancakes.
by Angie on 4/7/2011
I've been using the MediFast pancakes for the past 6 weeks, and have needed to "add-to-it" to make it palatable... crushed nuts, flax seeds, wheat germ, cinnamon... yes, all of those things at the same time! I tried this brand, not only because the cost was lower, but because i was hoping to find something a little tastier. Whoa! These are great! And I didn't need to add an assortment of fixer-uppers! And since I make them in the morning, and carry it off to work with me, by the time I actually sit down and it them, they're cold. And they are just yummy yummy when they're cold! Definitely a keeper.
You gotta be kidding me!
by on 3/27/2011
Great way to start your day, especially when covered in sugar free syrup. Tastes just like mom used to make.
Love these pancakes
by Polly on 1/25/2011
I add 2 tablespoons flaxseed to the packet...a touch more water than it calls for. Don't over stir them and definitely don't overcook. Yum.....my husband loves them too.
I really do like these
by clundin on 8/15/2010
I have eaten these for a couple years now and found that if I add 1/4 teaspoon of baking power and a little lemon juice to activate it, they become fluffy and more like a regular pancake. I never noticed a 'diet food' taste with these even before adding the lemon juice and baking soda.
by vtxsue on 8/13/2009
These pancakes are great! They already taste sweet, you don't need syrup. I make up a couple of batches and refridgerate them to nuke in the morning or to snack on during the day between meals. I've only tried the plain ones, but plan on trying the blueberry also.
by Justme on 8/7/2009
I've been making pancakes with oatmeal from another meal replacement company having to add baking powder and egg replacement. This pancake is excellent! I added ff sf syrup and butter spray. I am sooo glad I decided to try these. I tried the plain only and I am starting to think I may be able to add some of my real food to it and make bread out of this mix....a sandwich! Thank you Diet Direct. I'm saving money and your products are so much better than MF.
Breaking up the diet routine
by LHinton on 4/6/2009
I really enjoyed the blue berry pancakes. I would recommend while your pancake is cooking get your plate and your sugar free syrup out. Go ahead and measure out how much syrup you are going to use. Once the pancake is finished pour the syrup on the pancake and eat it. I read in earlier review that it gets cold fast so this is my way of eating it while hot. Eat it while standing at the stove if you have to, but it is really good. I have recommended it to all of my friends.
by bean on 2/4/2009
Good tasting and the right amount to eat. I am a diabetic and this food line is exactly what I am supposed to be eating.
A nice change of pace
by Anne on 7/3/2008
After having boiled eggs or diet cheese every morning for 2 months these pancakes are a nice way to feel like I'm eating a full breakfast instead of egg plus custard pudding. Great addition!!

Pancakes are great!
by Tish on 6/23/2008
These pancakes are great! I tried both flavors. I make them ahead of time and they freeze great also! A little sugar free syrup and some applesauce and they make a wonderful breakfast!

Make as a Delicious Belgian waffle!
by Carol Avant on 6/13/2008
These are great! I order a box of plain pancakes and can't wait to try the blueberry ones! Just for a change, I mixed up one packet with about 12 of the water, sprayed my Belgian waffle iron with butter flavor nonstick spray and Voila! Delicious, crispy Belgian waffle! Add a little sugarfree syrup and a few berries and enjoy!

Easy to prepare, good taste
by Melanie g on 4/29/2008
These are EASY, low in calories, high in protein, and taste good. I add some frozen blueberries and 1 packet of Splenda for each packet of the mix. They are filling, and even portable.

love the blueberry flavor!
by Joe B on 3/30/2008
I love the blueberry flavor. I cook one large pancake in a nonstick pan and spray PAM on it. After it is cooked I put sugar free syrup on it and "I can't believe it's not butter" spray. Then I nuke it for another 30 seconds to warm up the syrup. Tastes great with a cup of coffee for breakfast.

Great tasting pancakes
by Kim on 3/2/2008
Overall, the best tasting food through a packet that is out there. I have been eating them everyday since I first tried them. I even have replaced pancakes for dinner. Would get plain over blueberry...

I love these!
by Debbie on 2/29/2008
I absolutely love these! I made them then used sugar free syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Very low in calories and high in protein plus quite filling. I'll be ordering more again soon.

Perfect pancakes
by Betsy on 2/9/2014
I add either an egg white or a whole egg to the recipe and find the result to be delicious and filling. I expect that I'll continue to eat these even after I ready my goal.
protidiet pancake
by stardancer on 3/6/2014
These are so good, you would not even be able to tell they are diet food. I have them almost every day for breakfast and they are very filling.
Not bad !
by Cynthia on 4/29/2014
Not bad at all. Just like a real pancake. Hope you only like one or two small ones.
As good as
by Rita on 6/22/2015
I love these pancakes as much as if not more than pancakes made from scratch or a mix. Just the right amount and great taste.
The best ever
by Rosie on 3/19/2016
I love these pancakes. I have them every day. If I don't have them for breakfast, I'll have them as a snack at night. They are easy to prepare and taste great. I use sugar free syrup.
Good and easy
by Steven on 4/4/2016
Good to alternate with the blueberry pancake mix.
These are a staple
by Desiree on 7/1/2017
These are my go to breakfast when I am not in a hurry. I add extra water to make them more like a crepe consistency and have 2 of them which are only 180 calories but a whopping 30 grams of protein. I then use low calorie syrup and feel very satisfied and satisfy that need for sweet. I usually order 4 boxes at a time. I would suggest making one, eating it, then making the other so it does not sit and get cold.
Could not figure out how much 1.7 oz of water?
by Dawnybaby on 8/30/2012
After unsuccessfully trying to different measuring cups to find 1.7 oz of water, I combined a 1/4 cup of water with two packs of mix which made six pancakes so I have breakfast for two days. They did not taste bad, I used a little can't believe its not butter and lite syrup and they tasted pretty good. I like mine with a little more color to them so I cooked them longer than 2 minutes on each side, but I would order again.
better as a blintz
by Kim on 8/30/2012
If you add 1/3 cup water to the mix and stir up a crepe instead of a pancake, IT'S PERFECT! I fill the crepe with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and top with fresh fruit to make a blintz. Utterly delicious for breakfast or a high protein, low-cal dessert!
Makes GREAT Crepes
by Jerrilynn Willis on 8/30/2012
When it was warm, the pancake was good. It got cold fast, and the texture became a little rubbery. I made a couple of crepes out of the second packet, filled them with a mixture of fatfree cream cheese, ff cottage chese, lemon juice, and splenda, about 1 1/2 TBSP of the mixture per crepe. It was downright GOOD. Got 2 crepes out of 1 packet, thinned it with a little lemon juice & water. Will buy this again.
Pretty Good!
by sas on 4/3/2012
I really liked these. Easy to fix and tasteful along with sugar free maple syrup.
by Judy on 2/27/2012
I am on the MediFast Diet and supplement with Bariatric Choice products. It saves me money as well as offer more variety. While I prefer the MF pancakes, these work just fine.
Delicious, filling and not soy
by [email protected] on 10/23/2011
I have these delicious pancakes every morning for breakfast and for snacks throughout the day. They are very filling. It's wonderful that they are not soy based because I need to limit my soy intake. I would recommend them as an important source of protein. However, I cook them my own way. I add two envelopes of pancake mix to 1/2 cup of water and stir thoroughly. I then cook them in a small teflon frying pan sprayed lightly with oil. After cooling, I cut it up in 4 pieces and put it in a plastic sandwich bag. I make up 7 or so pancakes at a time so I can have them when I want. Each pancake is 200 calories. (Updated on 10/24/2011.)
by shark on 9/13/2011
Tasty with the blueberries, but I am still out with this one, Very small serving, and just cant get use to it when fully cooked still being whitish looking. But again tasty.
Blueberry pancakes
by janniep on 6/15/2011
The pancakes are thick and very tasty--especially with fresh blueberries on top!
Nice change for breakfast
by Mellowfuzz on 9/28/2009
I tried the blueberry pancakes. They were sweet and filling. I don't like the sugar-free syrups, so I topped it with warmed, unsweetened apple sauce. Very satisfying.
by kiki on 2/17/2009
These cook up very fast and are a great treat any time of day with spray butter and sugar-free syrup. I've only tried the blueberry--it's yummy.
A good pancake replacement
by BVK on 8/3/2013
I make both the blueberry and plain and add 1 tbsp of flax. The result is quite a good pancake, which I spread with Joseph's Sugar Free Maple Syrup and this satisfies my need for pancakes. The texture is pretty good and the taste is great.
pretty good
by Donna on 8/18/2014
I make the recipe just a little thinner for a crepe wrap a piece of lean ham or breakfast meat, satisfying!
by Donna on 3/7/2013
Ok. Definitely not the real thing. But when a person is trying to lose weight this does the trick.
It's changed!
by Carole on 2/19/2012
I loved these before you changed your packaging. Something is lacking in the product however. They used to taste good, but now I don't like them. They are too watery (even tho I measure exactly) they burn way too fast.....what happened???? (Updated on 2/20/2012.)
good with Walden Farms pancake syrup
by Melissa on 9/27/2013
These were pretty good, A little bland, but if you add Walden Farms pancake syrup you are nearly tricked into thinking you are getting the real deal. Moderately filling too. I would say this would go well with a couple of low carb, no sugar breakfast links (Applegate Farms makes links that are compatible with low carb, low fat, low sugar diet plans). I haven't tried this yet, but I have a recipe that suggests making the pancake, cutting into bits, adding prepared protein pudding in layers (they suggested chocolate and vanilla). You could then top with Walden Farms syrup of your choice and/or Walden Farms marshmellow topping.
Just Ok
by kelly on 5/2/2014
I don't know if it was just me, but the pancake turned out kind of like a biscuit. It did not have the soft consistency of a pancake. I rate it as just ok - it wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either.
by JoAnne on 9/2/2017
I bought this for the first time. Used it today. Not impressed. only makes 1-2 pancakes which is good for those only making for themselves. Didn't like the flavor Don't know if I will buy again.
Not crazy about the texture ..
by omcv04 on 8/30/2012
These were a bit sweet for my taste and the texture is something you need to get used to. Not sure if I will order them again or not.
Pancakes Plain
by Malissa2200 on 3/27/2009
In this product I was hoping for something that didn't tast like it was diet. Welp, it taste like its diet food. They get cold way to fast. By the time I got my plate to the table it was cold. I can only get one pancake out of this mix. It's like eating a sponge... But... on the other hand I don't want to be so negitive. On the plus side I get to eat pancakes. I don't feel tired afterwards like I did when I ate normal pancakes. I'm diebetic and this works out fine for me, so I half to give up tast & texture the outcome is better for me if I eat this. So yes I would recommend this product because there are plus's to every minus. Try it you may like it. I use sugar free syrup and add about 1-2 tablespoons of sugarfree blackberry jam and add a few fresh blackberries and it's okay. I can live with it.
didnt like the blueberry
by mandym on 2/15/2009
unfortunately i didnt care for the blueberry pancakes..too sweet with that funny artificial taste. i look forward to trying the natural flavor of these pancakes though.
Not Recommended
by Jennifer Hankins on 8/30/2012
I tried the blueberry pancakes and they were awful. They were rubbery and had no flavor. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Don't Do It!
by Cindie on 6/25/2010
I tried these because I wanted to have pancakes. These were so gross! Don't do it! Horrible tasting!
Too Chewy!!
by Rdmj on 10/21/2009
These in no way compare to the wonderslim pancakes! Wonderslim pancakes are great! These are not! There is just something about chewy pancakes that don't appeal to me.
This product has no appeal
by LWoolard on 10/5/2009
They are dense and have a strong protein taste.
Did not like these at all.
by Catness on 9/22/2009
Maybe I overcooked the mix or something, but I thought these pancakes came out tough and chewy with an odd sheen to them, and - texture aside - were not pleasant tasting at all. They sucked up maple syrup like a sponge, but yet the syrup seemed to disappear into them and I couldn't detect any maple flavor! The pancakes were quite dry and a challenge to cut with a fork. I added fresh raspberries on top, and not even that could help the taste. I was disappointed and surprised because I usually enjoy most protein-enhanced products. I would not buy these again.
Big "whey protein" taste
by Ann Marie on 9/3/2009
I ordered these and tried them with both milk and water. They have an overpowering whey protein taste. I would not order these again.
These taste bad
by Janet on 5/15/2008
OMG...these things are disgusting. They taste like egg whites. Not even syrup & butter could disguise these things. I threw them in the trash, save your $.

Too sweet
by Bonita on 2/19/2008
These are awful! They cook up beautifully; but taste horrible. They are very sweet, and have an overwhelming aftertaste of Saccharin.
