Try it as a Tuna Casserole

I have to say as I'm eating this it makes a dynamite tuna casserole. I use a little less water than the package says (about 6 oz.) Add a little garlic powder and black pepper. Bake in the oven or nuke until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened then add some seasoned bread crumbs that have been sprayed with a little NS spray to the top (optional but good) and bake until the crumbs are lightly browned. You can also add a little creamed corn but as it has a lot of starch and sugar I will leave it up to you. The tuna boosts the protein load and it is a very filling meal. (Don't forget the tobasco!) Best yet. I have tried everything so far on this program and this dinner is the best. Not overly cheesy but has a nice homemade taste. A little pricey for 3 dinners but with a nice salad and veggies PERFECTO!!

I like this one! The sauce is a little runny, but the taste is good to me and adding a little broccoli and chicken to it makes a great meal!

This satisfies my craving for carbs without wrecking the diet. I use less water than suggested and cook it on the stove. The microwave method just doesn't cut it for me (flavor-wise). I like to add just a few frozen peas or broccoli florets to 'color' it up or sometimes a bit of tuna or cooked chicken if I want even more protein and for it to be more filling. Adding a very small sprinkle of parmesan helps as well. Chives, parsley, or diced green onions also help. It is a little runny if you stick to the amount of water it suggests, but otherwise this dish is definitely a keeper and adds variety to the diet.

This may not taste like something you would pay $12 for at Olive Garden, etc but when you are off carbs and craving pasta, it's heavenly.

Having lost 47lbs on NS I missed my pasta nights. This gives me the pasta I crave and still keeps me maintaining my 117 lb weight.

I have had this by itself and I have mixed in Tuna or Chicken. I prefer it mixed but for a 'diet' entree, it is tasty.
