You'll love the apples and cinnamon flavor, and since it's oatmeal, it's very filing.

Ingredients

Rolled Oats, Milk Protein Isolate, Calcium Caseinate, Potassium Caseinate, Fructose, Inulin (Dietary Fiber), Dehydrated Apples, Corn Bran, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Cinnamon, Salt, Guar Gum, Sucralose.

Directions

MICROWAVE

  1. Bring 5 ounces of water to a boil in a medium size microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Add the contents of one packet and stir. Return to microwave and cook 3-4 minutes on MEDIUM (50%) uncovered. Stir halfway through cooking time. (Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed.)
  3. Remove from microwave, stir and let stand 2-3 minutes. Oatmeal will thicken upon standing.

STOVE TOP

  1. Bring 5 ounces of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the contents of one packet and boil 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, stir and let stand 2-3 minutes. Oatmeal will thicken upon standing.

    I'm kind of addicted to the Oatmeal. I eat 2 every morning and now that I'm back on the program, I'm glad WS packages 7 per box. My MD program only had 5 - such a rip off!

    I always use the cooktop and sometimes use almond milk, which can be boiled. I add 4oz of real apple, a shake of cinnamon and bring to boil for a minute or two. Then I add the oatmeal and then bring to boil and then simmer, with the lid on, for a few minutes. I take it off the heat stir and let it sit for a few more minutes , lid still on, and serve - You can take the lid off now ;D

    I have tried it in the microwave and for some reason it always boils over and/or gets too chewy. Probably because I can't regulate the heat and have it in too small a container.

    I just didn't like it. There were chunks of something in it that I couldn't chew. That was after I stirred and stirred.

    I've tried microwaving three different packets for different lengths of time with water and with a combination of water and milk. The consistency is terrible. It has a horrid texture and it looks gluey and unappetizing. The taste isn't as bad as the appearance, but I can guarantee I won't be reordering this product. I do like other products from this site, but not this one.
