I am constantly amazed at how great the Diet Direct products are. They taste 10,000 times better than Medifast and are way less expensive. I have had every diet version of pancakes possible. Medifast doesn't even have them, even though we begged them forever to create a pancake mix. These are amazing. I got them today, mixed them up, and spritzed with some ICBNB and added Walden Farms 0 Calorie Pancake Syrup. Deelish. Thanks again Diet Direct. YOU ROCK.
Wish I had ordered more...
by jpete on 9/23/2009
I wanted something different in the morning besides a protein drink (I'm not crazy about the packaged eggs) so I thought I would give the pancakes a shot. I only bought one box because I really didn't know what to expect because I've tasted nutrisystem pancakes and they are disgusting! These are great. Today is the first time I made them and I thinned out the batter probably a bit too much, but...it tasted great, and the thinned out pancakes could be used for crepes and be filled with the daily fruit requirement, or fill it with sloppy joe or fajita mix for extra protein.
So good....
by nicmz1772 on 10/11/2009
These were so good. I used ICBINB spray and Carey's sugar free syrup. I made 2 nice size cakes.

I am one who loves raw pancake batter....not this though. But cooked they are so good even plain.
by Americanchild on 10/14/2009
I am diabetic and never thought I would be able to eat pancakes again but thanks to Wonder Slim I can! I add a dash of salt and a packet of Stevia to the batter and they taste as good as any other pancakes I have had. Love, love, love this new items. Now, if they would just come out with some plain scrambled eggs I would be in breakfast heaven!
2 small pancackes - Delicious
by Ann on 10/28/2009
Delicious. You get two sand dollar sized pancakes out of one packet, and they taste amazing.
Very, very good hotcakes!
by Trishie on 11/5/2009
You can have pancakes again! Add a strip of turkey bacon and you can eat Sunday breakfast with your family without being left out. I love these! I added a little banana and cinnamon and made banana pancakes. Instead of using a griddle, I baked the pancake at 350 on a pan sprayed with non-stick spray. Takes a little longer but it comes out very fluffy. (Updated on 11/6/2009.)

by June on 11/29/2009
As the other reviewers said, wow - DietDirect has done it again! Every DietDirect product I have tried is just plain yummy! I made one large pancake... it was moist and just a little crispy around the edge. Good stuff!

Excellent--I thought I died & went to heaven-to have pancakes again! Thank you-WonderSlim! I use Mrs. Butterworth's sugar-free syrup & I swear you can not tell the difference! And I usually just make one big one. These are a nice treat--excellent breakfast--I bought 2 boxes & will definitely be ordering more. LOVE THEM!
I'm in heaven!!
by Leah on 2/1/2010
This makes great pancakes but I added 2oz of water and cooked it in my sprayed & preheated waffle iron for 3 minutes. OMG!! even my husband likes them.
Oh, YUM!
by Cheryl on 2/5/2010
These are delicious. They have a bit of tartness to them, which adds very nicely to the flavor. They come out nice and fluffy just like a regular pancake. I eat them with ICBINB spray and sugar free syrup. It makes 3 small pancakes, and is just enough to hit the spot and hold me over until my next meal. Feels like cheating!
WonderSlim Protein Diet Hot Cakes
by Kathy on 2/16/2010
The WonderSlim Protein Diet Hot Cakes were quite good and I was surprised that I got 3 decent size pancakes out of the mix.
Really nice.
by Margie on 3/12/2010
This was great. It makes three good size hot cakes. I will be buying it again for sure.
by Lugsma on 3/23/2010
Ok, seriously someone has to be lying..these can't possibly be diet???! OMG I can't believe it...tastes just like yo mama's pancakes! I added a bit of Splenda cuz I like mine with a touch of sweet and topped them off with a spray of ICBINB and some sugar free syrup, t'was wonderful!! You could throw in a dash of vanilla and some cinnamon, with or without, if you are a pancake eater, these will become a staple for you....bon apetite!!
Great for pancake lovers
by Sigster on 6/20/2010
I bought these pancakes to try before we suggested them to our weight loss patients. I personally don't like pancakes, so I made them for my husband, who loves pancakes. Well, of course I tried them, just so I could give my patients my opinion about them, and I really liked them a lot. I added some Splenda to the batter to make them a little bit sweeter. My husband liked them as well. This is a great product that doesn't taste like it's good for you! I would recommend these to anybody!
I can eat pancakes again.....
by honeyb on 6/23/2010
After having a gastric sleeve this past year and trying to stick with healthy protein, I thought I would never eat pancakes again. Wrong! These are really good. I couldn't even eat it all. Now I can have pancakes too!
Thank you, Wonderslim! and Diet Direct!
by DawnT on 7/9/2010
It is so wonderful to be on a weight reduction diet and STILL be able to eat pancakes! I use the Joseph's Sugar Free Maple Syrup on these, and it is a wonderful combination. These are so simple to prepare, and only take a few minutes. Great for a quick breakfast that is satisfying and really good tasting! Thank you, Diet Direct, for all the great products you carry, at an affordable price! I will be a life-long customer!
by Lisa on 9/6/2010
I had to come on here and write a review for these pancakes! They are amazing! I bought the Josephs sugar free syrup to go with them and I must say both are so good! Thanks Diet Direct! :)
Just Like the Real Thing
by jenniferlynne76 on 10/18/2010
These light and fluffy pancakes really do cook up like the real thing. Touched with a hint of vanilla and sweetness, you almost don't need anything to top them (a little butter spray and sugar free maple syrup bring them even closer to reality). The batter prepared quickly and easily, as directed, and in just a couple of short minutes I had three delightful pancakes ready for my morning meal. Can't recommend these highly enough!
These are so delicious!!
by esilva1 on 11/4/2010
I made these on my griddle this morning, made three very decent sized pancakes. I sliced some banana on them and I am very full. These were so tasty. I did not detect any after taste at all. And they really filled me up! I highly recommend these!!!
Make a waffle
by PBowman on 1/11/2011
For a fast treat pour the whole thing in a standard waffle maker and you get a huge, hot, tasty breakfast. I spray with I can't Believe It's Not Butter and sugar free syrup and it is very tasty. Very pleasant treat in the morning that lasts for several hours in the tummy.
Very good
by cd on 1/23/2011
We like these pancakes quite a lot. They are great prepared as directed and quick to make. I frequently will add a packet of Splenda since I like sweet things. I sometimes will add a little orange zest (very good) or a dash of cinnamon. They are also great topped with a sauteed peach that has been sprinkled with splenda and cinnamon.

If you are going to do something extra to the pancake batter, I suggest you do it quickly when making the pancakes as the batter rises very quickly and tends to fall a bit if you stir something in later.

I highly recommend.
The best pancakes ever!
by on 1/29/2011
These pancakes taste so good! I eat them almost ever morning and never get tired of them. They taste like the real thing!
Great Option
by Mountain Girl on 2/22/2011
Great treat when your diet excludes bread. I add a bit of extra flavoring. Couple drops of maple or cinnamon, and a packet of splenda.
WS Hot Cakes
by Carole on 3/6/2011
Love these hot cakes, hope you never change the ingredients. I make one big one every am and roll a banana in it after its cooked, like a Taco....great for on the run...also good with anything on top...applesauce, syrup, NF cream cheese, SF jelly, yum....
Really good!
by JungleLady on 3/11/2011
These pancakes are the best. I tried the Proti-Diet brand, but the Wonderslim brand is better. You get more pancakes for fewer calories. I added a packet of sweetener and some cinnamon as I'm mixing it up. They come out light and fluffy and just yummy. I add some butter spray and a touch of sugar-free syrup and it makes a great breakfast...or even dinner!
buy them

Awesome! A great alternative to eating homemade pancakes when the waist-line is a consideration. My daughter loves eating these~
My Favorite Breakfast Food
by lasvegsgirl32 on 5/19/2011
I follow the directions but add a few shakes of All Spice, Nutmeg, Cloves, and Cinnamon to the mix and OMG these are the best hot cakes ever, and knowing that I am getting so much protein makes them even better. Instead of adding sugar to them, I drizzle organic peanut butter (almost liquid like at room temperature) along with some organic jelly or honey and what a delectable breakfast experience I have!
Don't like the taste?? Try this!
by Chrisaimee on 6/4/2011
When I make these pancakes I crush mixed nuts and thinly slice a 1/4 of a banana & mix all the ingredients with 1 packet of splenda && when its done cooking...I drizzle it with warm sugar free maple syrup && sprinkle cinnamon all over it... you almost forget your eating HEALTHY lol...enjoy!
great pancake meal replacement
by nonie on 6/10/2011
Much better than pancake mixes I have tried previously. Add a small amount of the Joseph's no sugar maple syrup and they are even better.
My Sunday Best!
by Cheryl on 6/12/2011
On Sunday mornings I usually have time to indulge in a hot breakfast and WonderSlim hotcakes are one of my favorites! I microwave a thinly sliced apple with cinnamon while I make the two small-but-adequate hotcakes. Then I use some SmartBeat or butter spray on the hotcakes, put a layer of baked apple slices between the two and on top. Drizzle the no-sugar maple syrup over all and dig in with total satisfaction! Very filling and fun to make and eat.
These Hot Cakes are Really "Hot"!
by Ellie on 7/10/2011
Just tried these Wonder Slim pancakes yesterday morning and I love them! They are really tasty and filling. I use non-fat syrup on them.

Thanks for a great product!
by Kimmieb on 8/7/2011
I seriously love these pancakes...I mean ...I am on a diet??? Wouldn't know it. I can now have pancakes w/ my kids and still be on my diet!! I come from a place where every doc that offers the same supplement only offers shakes or juice...so its like liquid...liquid..liquid...I love that I have a little variety!!

Delicious Delicious Perfect
by Sera on 10/8/2011
I eat this almost every day and totally guilt-free.

It's even more amazing with the maple syrup from diet direct!

You can't not love these hotcakes.
by Shavone on 10/13/2011
I was so worried about these because I love hot cakes. But when I made them I was shocked on how good they taste. Take a chance and reach a goal.
Makes great bread!
by DMiller on 10/21/2011
Do yourself a favor and buy these. I've never tried them as pancakes. I mix them as directed in a large coffee mug, then cook in the microwave for 60 - 70 seconds. Dump it out and slice it into "bread." My favorite way to eat this is with a veggie breakfast pattie and a slice of FF cheese as a McGriddle type sandwich. My husband and I split 1 packet of pancakes into 2 sandwiches because it makes so much! Enjoy!
Pleasantly surprised
by Betrimsoon on 11/7/2011
The hot cakes really surprised me how good they are. I actually just make one large pancake with this. I don't use sugar free syrup, instead I use a tablespoon of fruit spread. Delightful.
Loved them!
by Vicki on 11/21/2011
These were great, tasted great, loved them. I made 2 pancakes with low sugar syrup. I will buy them again!
Protein Pancakes
by Lorraine on 12/3/2011
I was skeptical when I ordered but boy, am I sure glad I did! Excellent breakfast with a little sugar free syrup. I add a little cinnamon to the mix as well for a nice flavor. Great on those cold mornings!
Hard to believe they're good for me
by jchick on 1/1/2012
I love pancakes, french toast, anything with processed wheat flour. My metabolism does not.

I can splurge on these once a week without inflicting any injury on my eating plan or weight loss goals. And, they're good. Very, very good. I stocked up the last time they were on sale but once I run out, I'll be back for more!
by LBrodeur on 1/11/2012
AMAZING!! I can say this morning, after having these pancakes and my berry smoothie, that I feel like I cheated!! I'm so full which is great because I woke looking for a good breakfast this AM!! This truly makes the portion that appears in the photo, and they taste great! I personally do not care for thick pancakes, so I added the water called for - mixed - saw it was too think for me - and added a wee bit more water to thin them out a bit! Definite GET for those on Wonderslim!
These Are Great!
by Susan on 1/14/2012
I did not expect these to be as good as they were. I get two, big ol' pancakes out of a package. I add a teeny hit of stevia to the batter, just for a sweeter taste. They're good with cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice in the mix. Spritz a little "I can't believe it's not butter" and a bit of sugar-free syrup, and chow down!

I will be experimenting with them, as I think they will make a good savory treat too. Like crackers. I think they would make good cookies, too. Who knows?
So good my 6 year old wanted them!
by Blondie on 1/17/2012
Excellent.. the best cant even tell they are WonderSlim! I cant believe I'm eating pancakes again!
First Thing I Had, and Very Pleased
by TRobbins on 1/18/2012
When I started WonderSlim, I decided to do start on a weekend to kind of get my bearings and what worked and didn't. My very first item to eat was the Hot Cakes. No, these aren't like my homemade ones are, but they aren't supposed to be!!!! They are a diet food. And yes, it's a small portion, much smaller than I would normally make myself. But I'm on a diet!!!!!

I really liked them. The taste was good, and I will buy more. I used them with sugar free syrup and good diet margarine, and they were great. I wanted more!!!! For anyone wondering if they are worth the purchase, YES!
Love these
by Jan on 1/21/2012
I love these & have one almost everyday. I make them as a muffin.Put 1/4 C water & mix in shaker bottle or wisk it then put in a ramekin dish & microwave for 1 min 20 sec & out pops a perfect muffin. I've added different extracts Banana is awesome served with SF syrup is so good
Surprisingly good!!
by gabygal on 1/24/2012
I was expecting a diet hot cake to be rubbery and tasteless, but these really hit the spot. I add a little more liquid than called for because my first attempt were thicker than I like. I've only made them plain, with SF syrup & diet margarine. But I look forward to experimenting with crepes or muffins.
Hot Cakes
by Brenda on 1/27/2012
Love this product. I don't eat syrup on my pancakes and with these, it is no problem. They taste great just the way they are. They fluff up just like regular pancakes. Awesome!!
by DMC on 1/28/2012
I just had these and they are surprisingly good! I didn't get 3 pancakes out of the mix, but next time I can add more water. I got two good ones though. I added lite butter an SF syrup and it was really good. Will be ordering more! I'm not a big pancake person but its so nice to have something like this when you're dieting.
For a diet - these are great
by lpm on 2/28/2012
Hits the spot when you want miss some of the foods with carbs you normally have to stay away from!
I will order these again & again
by CNC Sid on 2/29/2012
I think this is the best thing in the catalog! Very enjoyable.
by Jenn on 3/1/2012
The wonderslim hot cakes are so good. I make them in silver dollar size and put blueberry sauce on them. I make my own blueberry compote using splenda and cinnamon. I also sprinkle about 1/8 cup of walnuts on top. These are so great because I can make pancakes for my kids and I don't have to eat something different from them because I am on a diet.
by Melanie on 3/6/2012
What a refreshing change from eggs and meat! These pancakes satisfied my need for 'something different'. Add a little sugar free syrup and it is a 'sweet' breakfast!
My favorite Wonderslim Breakfast
by OrpheusRises on 4/6/2012
Having tried the Medifast pancakes, I find these to be MUCH better as they cook up like normal pancakes and have the same texture. A great hot breakfast that only takes a few minutes and leaves you satisfied. Make sure to shop around for the sugar free/light syrups as the calorie content varies greatly between brands. I like Log Cabin Sugar Free myself and only 20 cals per 1/4 cup. I use half of that.
by SH on 4/9/2012
I must be in heaven! I love pancakes and to be able to have them on a diet.. I have made these with the recipe in the WS manual (Devine Pancakes). If you use the manual recipe, make sure you follow the directions exactly! The first time I made them, I followed the recipe exactly and the pancakes were superb. The second time I made the recipe, I tried a shortcut and the result was more like a soupy mess. The mess was still delicious.
by KKjar on 4/11/2012
These are the very best!!!! I could eat them daily! I really enjoy breakfast and these were easy to make and better to eat. Loved them.... :)
The Best Pancakes EVER!
by RiaRob on 8/14/2012
I bought this only on the reviews, and am I sure glad I did! These are the best diet pancakes I ever tasted. And I can eat them every day if I want without guilt! WonderSlim you have made me a very happy girl! Thank you.
love these pancakes
by Mary on 8/14/2012
These are wonderful pancakes. I can make three pancakes from the batter and I just purchased the syrup and three more boxes!!! These can be made the night before and I bring them to work and pop them in the microwave. Everything I have tried on the wonderslim program has been delicious. I can't believe I am dieting. I have lost 7 lbs and it hasn't been a week!
This is REALLY good!
by tendercactus on 8/14/2012
This pancake mix is very good, at least with a half a banana cut up and put in the mix. I've only had it once, and that's the way I made it, and it was very satisfying. Also looking forward to trying it with a homemade berry sauce, which I use on low cal waffles (Kashi brand). Throw a cup or so of fresh (or frozen?) berries in a sauce pan, heat them up with a packet of Splenda, let the berries release some of their juices over the heat, poor over waffles/pancakes, yummy!
by eclanzil on 8/14/2012
These pancakes are so good. . I think I'll keep eating them even after I lose all the weight I need to and I'm just about there. So tasty and light. FABULOUS!!
OH MY Gosh!!! So Good!
by KellyD on 8/14/2012
By far...the best WonderSlim product you have. I eat this every morning with SF syrup and fresh strawberries or bananas on top. So filling and such a treat. I make one large pancake and it is so filling. I also make some ahead and keep in a ziploc bag in the fridge. Warm up in microwave if in a hurry or take to work. I also make a stawberry shortcake out of it sometimes for dessert with lite cool whip. (Updated on 7/20/2012.)
Great Tasting Hot cakes
by Jane Smith on 8/14/2012
I love the Hot cakes, you cook them as directed and they taste awesome. I put on it some Josephs sugar free maple syrup and they taste just like PANCAKES (Updated on 7/1/2012.)
Best Ever
by LB on 8/14/2012
LOVE these pancakes! I actually can't wait to have one in the morning. I add blueberries, nuts and sometimes but banana's on them. Also, I use Agave Nectar as my syrup (just a little bit). SO GOOD!!! YUM!
Simply Wonderful
by sunshine on 8/14/2012
I was looking for ways to have guiltless treats and found these pancakes. I prepare the mix and put it in my Wolfgang Puck Bravo and make 2 huge muffins, sometimes I add dried blueberries or cinnamon...you could add anything. Afterwards, I have two huge muffins and sometimes I pour sugar free syrup over them. I cannot believe that this is dieting. When I am eating my muffins, I do not miss IHOPS!
Love these pancakes.
by MJames on 8/7/2011
These pancakes taste great. Just the right amount per serving in the box. Fast and easy to fix. Will order more.
by Ringerlady on 10/3/2011
These pancakes are great! I add a little vanilla and cinnamon and then enjoy. I cannot believe it's so low calorie and high protein.

very good!
by Carol on 10/3/2011

This product is really tasty!
by mbs on 11/26/2011
I have enjoyed these pancakes as an alternate to the Oatmeal products (that are really tasty, too!). Variety is the spice of life after all! I added blueberries and an egg and still stayed with my allowances! Enjoy!

These pancakes are the best
by elleward on 2/28/2012
These pancakes are light and fluffy. The taste is excellent with a little sf syrup or fresh strawberries. Love them!!
by Pat99MI on 6/9/2012
I received my order 2 days ago. Made pancakes this morning. I added a few fresh blueberries to each pancake before turning over. I put about 1 teaspoon of sugar free syrup and a dollop of sugar free whipped topping on each one. The 3 best words to describe them is YUM, YUM, YUM!!!
Can't live without these
by Van on 6/19/2012
I've been a pancake lover for as long as I can remember. After becoming diabetic, pancakes were taboo. Not these! These are so darn good, it makes a large pancake, and I add in a small handful of blueberries and top with Joesephs sugar free syrup. Hubby like it so much he ordered some! I did not like the blueberry flavored one though.
by Beth on 8/30/2012
These are a GREAT high-protein pancake! I saw some reviews that said they were heavy, well, they are going to be, they are high in protein. The taste and texture are awesome in my book. I'm a 3 year out gastric bypass person. I'm always on the lookout for good alternatives to the high carb food we shouldn't eat and these pass my test.
by DMarg on 6/29/2012
I am in love with these pancakes! Served with some lite butter syrup it satisfies my craving for a sweet breakfast. (Updated on 6/30/2012.)
by GFS to be on 11/6/2012
These are really good with sugar free syrup, love them and wish I had the time to make them more mornings! Sometimes I make them at home and bring them to work -- heat them up real quick so I can enjoy them at work. Makes 3 small pancakes that do satisfy me.
Loved these, felt almost guilty!
by Diane on 3/16/2010
Easy to make and a real treat. You almost feel guilty eating them. Next time I'm going to try to make them in the waffle maker as one of your other customers suggested.
Hot Cakes
by EAH on 1/14/2011
Good start to a day. They are a little dry but with low fat that is to be expected.
Pretty Darn Good
by jlinhart on 1/24/2011
These were good. They definitely need a sugar free syrup with it to make them good but good all the same!
Mixed bag.
by MkeJake on 3/11/2011
These pancakes are pretty tasty. Actually it's more like pancake (singular), since it makes 1 decent size cake in my pan. Oh, and I'm rubbish with cooking in the first place so mine never turn out quite right. I guess practice makes perfect so I'll keep trying.
Diet Hot Cakes
by mwhite on 10/31/2011
As I read the reviews on this product, it becomes apparent to me that this product is compared to pancakes made with flour or other grains. This product is lower in carbs and calories. So don't expect that most of these products would be the same as you may have consumed before going on this diet. However I must say that the WS Hot Cakes are better than most other low carb/low cal products. They are higher in carbs than other low carb hot cakes, but still a very good choice for weight loss. I have tried many low carb hot cakes, and am glad to have found these hot cakes. So far these taste the best to me. I think I may just try a recipe mentioned to make bread from this product.
by aza on 1/17/2012
The pancakes are a nice variant for breakfast, alternating with the "cheerios." The taste is acceptable and Joseph's Syrup allows for a fairly low-cal breakfast.
Really Good
by MSMel on 2/6/2012
These are really good. I tried them today mixed with a package of the vanilla shake/pudding, added more water, and got 3 large pancakes. Definitely nice to mix it up once in a while.
surprisingly good
by PJ on 3/18/2012
Approached these with skepticism, but they're surprisingly good. Be mindful of the calorie count in your daily meal plan, but they're worth it in terms of satisfaction. Not a typical non-diet portion, as others note, but hey, let's not forget why we're here. ...Mix it gently, let the batter sit a little while to be sure bubbles are forming, make sure your griddle is good and hot, grease it lightly, watch for burning (these will tend to burn quickly), and you'll get some nice cakey little flapjacks. A little Smart Balance, Torani syrup, and enjoy.
Pretty Good
by Christie on 8/13/2012
I thought the hot cakes were just okay alone but I added some frozen peaches and a dash of cinnamon and just microwaved it for a little less than 2 minutes and it kind of turned into a peach muffin; it was very, very good!
Good pancakes, decent serving size
by Tara P. on 8/14/2012
The batter if fluffy and bubbly and produces 3 decent size pancakes (bigger than silver dollar, smaller than my plate). They're pretty tasty too--i enjoyed mine with some Walden Farms syrup.

My one complaint (and its really my own fault), was that I was expecting them to taste like corn-griddle cakes. I supposed I misunderstood "hot cakes" and was disappointed that they were just delicious pancakes.

I do think I enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes made by Bariwise(?) a bit more than these--and they had a few less calories. I'm probably going to stick to that brand of pancake going forward. But these were really delicious.
These were my favorites - after doctoring

I found these to be bland on their own. I added vanilla and stevia and pulled in blueberries from mid morning to make a modified blueberry pancake.

Make sure you let them sit for a 1-2 minutes to get bubbly before cooking. This allows for a fluffier pancake. I also experimented to make a muffin as one reviewer suggested by combining with the oatmeal . I still added vanilla and stevia to this. I divided them up into 6 muffins, froze them and then nuke 2 at a time for breakfast with a shake...

But by themselves - these didn't work for me. I'm giving them 4 stars because once I figured it out - these are a real treat.

I was getting tired of eggs for breakfast and I don't care for oatmeal all that much. These are good if you doctor them up with a little slice of apple and cinnamon with sugar free syrup. I make a few packs up for the week and heat them up for breakfast at work. definitely will buy these again

Ok pancakes.. dense

I like the way these pancakes are packaged, they come in the right serving size but they are a bit dense. I guess if I added more water or tried milk they would thin out a bit. Not sure if they have different flavors but I added some cinamon to mine and it tasted better.
Better than I expected!

Just finished my very first WonderSlim Hotcakes topped with FF whipped cream (5 cal) and 1/4 C Joseph's SF syrup. Delicious! Actually, much better than I expected. Thanks.
Add something in it

I chose the plain version as I was afraid the blueberry would taste too chemical, but now I actually find it too dry, and not enough taste.

Then I started adding one Tbs of sugar-free jam in the mix before cooking the pancakes, and it tastes a lot better! So yes, I would recommend it to a friend but warning him that he should not eat it plain...

Tried it yesterday, it made one small-med hotcake that tasted dry, dense, kinda blah. But will try again adding more water to thin it down and maybe put in some blueberries or bananas or strawberries to flavor it up. It could have been less sweet as well. Might make good mini-muffins???
Hmm..Not for me

I was really excited to get these, especially after the reading the reviews, but I can say I won't be purchasing these again. To me they have an after taste after each bite and it taste rather off. I think for the average person on a low carb diet, these might be just fine - suitable; but if you can afford the carbs, I'd stick with the real thing - a little more diluted, with sugar free syrup.
Not plain!

If it weren't for Light Country Crock margarine and Joseph's sugar-free maple syrup to doctor these up, I couldn't eat them. They have a horrible taste. However, add the aforementioned products, and they aren't too bad :-) I wish I could rate them better with the margarine and syrup added, cause then I'd give them at least a 4-star rating.

Everyone has different tastes but I just could not stomach these. I could barely finish the first pancake. I was so disappointed. The taste and texture was like the MF pancake. Maybe I will just mix it as a shake with some sf coffee syrup and hope it tastes ok. If it doesn't I will be pitching the rest of the box in the garbage.

I made these this morning. They smelt great. I was excited to try them. And then I actually did. GAG! These were horrible! I am thinking of sending these back and getting an exchange. I have a scratch protein recipe that is similar in nutritional value that is 100% better than this. I am going to try it one more time, adding some cinnamon and vanilla next time. If that doesn't work, these are going back to stay, forever and ever.

I was looking for a high protein pancake and found these by WonderSlim. I have enjoyed every other product by them so I thought I would try the Hotcakes (pancakes). Well, they cooked up nice, however, when eating, they were so "pastey" tasting. They had a protein powder aftertaste to them as well. I will be returning this product for a full refund.
