Mama Mia, this pizza's GREAT
by Amy on 8/8/2011
I knew without reading any reviews that I wanted to try this pizza and boy did it deliver! Very quick and easy to make, nice portion size and very flavorful sauce. You can make the crust as thick or as thin as you like and sauce, yummmm, I'm drooling just thinking about it again, is a nice blend of spices. I'd have to say it's the best sauce I've ever had. I no longer have to feel left out when my family orders in pizza as long as I have this pizza to enjoy!
Great little pizza!!
by DianeM on 1/9/2012
I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza! It is a small portion, but it is terrific when paired with a big green salad. Just top with some fat free mozzarella and you have a tasty treat. My whole family loves it.

Just what I needed!
by Thrasher on 2/13/2013
I've been on Medifast for 5 weeks now and the only thing that I've had cravings for was pizza. I've made the califlower/mozz cheese crust lean & green pizza recipe, but it just didn't quite cover the craving. This pizza did it. Yes it is still diet pizza with a lower carb crust, but with some light mozz, and turkey pepperonis, I thought it was heaven. I now feel like I'm less likely to cheat on my diet.
It tasted real good

Felt full and satisfied.
FINALLY I can have PIZZA!!
by JCitizen on 4/29/2013
I'm a pizza monster, and until now I couldn't touch the stuff! Now I can get my pizza fix(in moderation of course). I don't make them one at a time - I put it all together all at once and keep the portions at the same rate, then bake it all up at once. Then I freeze them with the tomato paste on, and add black olives and mushrooms just before toasting them momentarily in a toaster oven. This is just one more thing that Diet Direct offers that makes life worth living again!

I'm not supposed to be eating black olives, but it only takes a teaspoon or less of the thin sliced condiments to add all the flavor I need, and the omega 3 fat in olives is good for me. I can highly recommend these, even for people on a serious bariactric diet plan - I've been losing weight like crazy - over 130 lbs so far!!
I love it!
by Jami on 6/29/2013
This is my new favorite thing. It makes a nice serving as well.
I LOVE this!!
by PATRICIA on 11/10/2013
It may be small but it's mighty! It's very satisfying! Tastes amazing!
Great Taste with some additions
by Maxine on 12/14/2013
After reading some of the reviews of this pizza I was skeptical about trying it, but took some of the advice from others and it turned out very well. I did spray my fingers with non-fat spray to spread out the crust on the pan and I did bake the crust for about 4 minutes before adding the sauce on top to keep it from being soggy. I added a tiny bit of lean hamburger that I had leftover from a burger that I had fixed, a few strips of green bell pepper, fresh mushrooms and a bit of mozzerella cheese as my toppings. Also, I added some italian seasoning, garlic powder and some garlic and herb seasoning to the sauce. I did find that 15 minutes was not long enough to bake it, as I like my crust sort of crunchy so after the 15 minutes I turned up the heat and baked it for about 5 more minutes. I thought the pizza, although small was very tasty and filling. I figured it wouldn't be enough and fixed a big salad, but should have just fixed my regular sized salad that I have every day and that would have been enough. Look forward to having this tasty meal again soon.
Addition to original review
by Mary Lynn on 1/22/2014
Wanted to share how I work the dough. I lightly spray a piece of waxed paper with PAM and dump out the ball of dough. Then I top with a second piece of wax paper, lightly sprayed with PAM. I use a can to roll the dough out. So easy with no sticking. Perfection!
Awesome Food Choice
by Daryl on 3/11/2014
I couldn't wait to have a slice of "pizza" after my surgery. This product satisfied the craving. And I could put any meat, cheese and veggie on it that I wanted. excellent choice !
surprisingly good
by victoria on 3/4/2017
I have been an ideal protein person off and on for a couple years. After going through some stressful times and losses, i gained back 50 of the 80 pounds I lost. Too much real pizza, not enough ideal protein, eating wrong, you know how it goes. I have decided to pull myself together and do this again, correctly. But because of $ i can't afford to do the IP program anymore (will still get a few of my favorites but trying out cheaper options) IP doesn't have pizza. So imagine my surprise when i found this! it just came in today, and i just made it for lunch. I didn't top it with veggies because of time. I thought the pizza would come sort of like nutrisystems so that was a bit of a surprise. But i'm ok with that, so i slowly added water to both mixes until the right consistency was achieved. I spread out the dough on the pan in the toaster oven on top of a piece of foil. I sprayed non stick spray onto the foil. i plopped the dough down and thought ok now what. so i started trying to press it out and it stuck to my fingers. hmmmm ok this is going to be a pain i thought! then i got the idea to spray my fingers and i pressed it out like that, although now reading the reviews, i may try some other reviewers ways, like using the can to press it out between wax papers. i put the sauce on it, topped with a little bit of cheese and baked it, it was surprisingly tasty. Next time I will bake the dough a bit before the sauce and toppings go on to crisp it up. I also spread it out thinner which i think will help those of you that said it didn't cook up right 15 min it cooked up for me but not crispy enough but if i left it in longer, the cheese would have been completely burnt. I'll buy again!
Pretty Good
by Juniorsmom on 6/15/2011
I crave pizza when I'm dieting so I love that I can have it. Was hard to measure the water the first time, then I found a cup from cold medicine that had ml (2 tbs). If you put non stick spray on your fingers you can get the dough to spread out easier.
Pleasantly Surprised
by Dskarosi on 6/25/2011
I followed the directions for the dough, but sprayed the pan and my hands with Pam to make it more spreadable. I also added Turkey Pepperoni and cheese. Perfect for an afternoon snack.
This is Yummy!!!
by lsos on 10/23/2011
I really like this and if you add some onions, mushrooms or just leave it plain it has a great taste and looks like a pizza too...lol
Yummy in a weird way
by on 12/22/2011
The sauce is rather gelatinous, but tastes good. The crust is very dry when made as instructed. It does taste good though, just some odd consistencies. Very small too, definitely not a full meal.
Okay...Needs tweaking
by Trishie on 1/3/2012
When I first tried this, the crust was very dry and the sauce needed a bit more flavor. So I added some garlic, chopped tomatoes, onions, some Italian seasoning to the sauce. I used part of my fat allowance to alter the dough (now before you harp on me about fat content, I make this pizza as a treat, I don't have this very often, mostly when I am craving bread, which is becoming less and less often). Anyway, I mix in the margarine (actually I use butter because I actually hate margarine but if you do margarine it's fine) like a pie crust dough and add the water until it just comes together. Then using hands sprayed with non-stick spray, spread your dough and bake the dough first until it just starts to firm up and form a crust. (I find if you add the sauce at the start, the dough stays soggy). Then add your sauce and cheese and finish your pizza. The dough bakes up a little flakier and a little less dry. Nice change!
by To Be Skinny on 1/26/2012
Nice change from the typical meal replacements. Its pretty good! Definitely add some cheese, onions and mushrooms (like on the pic) - or whatever you like on pizza. Plain, its just not that great.
Surprisingly Good for Powdered Pizza :)
by Tara P. on 3/4/2012
I didn't know what to expect from this pizza in pouches, but for the calories/protein content, it was definitely worth a shot! I mixed up the dough (next time, I will add some garlic powder and oregano--it was a bit bland on its own). I sprayed a baking sheet with Pam, put the dough in the center, covered with wax paper and smacked it down to a nice, thin even layer. It was probably about 5 inches in diameter. The sauce was what frightened me most, but was surprising tasty! I did not modify it at all and really enjoyed the spices and flavor of the sauce. The consistency did not bother me either. I added a low fat string cheese and baked as directed. It resulted in a cracker-like crust and was very good. I will definitely order this again and look forward to experimenting with toppings and seasonings!
Very impressive
by nelb on 4/10/2012
I tried the pizza and didn't expect it to be as tasty as it is. The sauce has a good flavor, the crust tastes good. I was impressed with it. I added a little cheese on top and did the rest as the recipe said. I love this and will order it again. I have already recommended it to a friend and she likes it too.
It hits the spot
by Shawn on 3/17/2013
It isn't very big but is tasty. I do not add cheese because I have cut out all dairy. Just tons of veggies and my favorite topping is artichokes marinated in water.
These are ok!!
by Kathryn on 7/13/2013
I was pleasantly surprised that these are easy and the sauce is very tasty. Though, you are just eating a disc with tomato sauce unless you throw some stuff on it to make it more filling.
Awesome base meal!
by Darcee on 10/5/2016
Just tried the pizza for lunch! Topped it with chopped mushrooms, a grape tomato, fresh basil, and cheese. Think I'll add a bit of salt to the dough next time but it was just great. I also added a bit of salt and hot sauce to the saucel! Very short cook time. I'll order again.
Good if your craving pizza
by Ft Lauderdale Girl on 5/31/2011
This is okay but it's really small and the dough is a little tough to work with. I messed up and had to add two packs of dough because it was so watery. The first time I followed the directions as is and the pizza came out okay but the dough stuck to the pan. I would recommend using a non stick spray and adding some fresh garlic and spices to the sauce to make it a little more authentic. I would recommend this but you will need to make something else with it as it's not enough to fill you up for an entire meal.
Didn't do it for me
by CindyD on 1/26/2012
When I saw this product I thought it was a dream come true. I could truly fit pizza into my diet, yay! Wrong. Like others have said, the crust this makes is small and that would be fine if it tasted like a crust but it doesn't. It is so light and poofy it can't even support a smidge of cheese without falling apart. I threw it away and will be returning this item to Diet Direct.
Not sure yet
by Sara on 4/15/2014
I really appreciate the reviews with tips on how to better prepare this. My first try was an epic fail. I almost never throw food out even if it doesn't taste great. I put too much water in the sauce so I couldn't even use it (was way too watery) and the dough never completely cooked after almost 45 minutes in both the oven and toaster over. My toppings were scorched. I will try it again though, sounds like it is possible to made it better. Thank you all for the help!
So gross
by Lionesskb on 5/6/2012
I was so excited when I saw this pizza. Of course, I didn't expect it to be like real pizza but I figured it might do the trick. It was so awful! I tried it twice just to make sure. I will be throwing the rest out because I can't even choke it down. barf
by Teri on 7/9/2013
This pizza was terrible. I only used one set and will discard the rest! I'm only giving it one star because zero isn't provided. I have bought the Proti bars and most have been pretty good.

To messy and take to long to prepare
by Tracy on 3/25/2014
The sauce is too spicy and the dough tastes like cardboard. It is too time consuming to prepare. I will not buy this product again.
Horrible. Most likely the worst product I've ever had!
by karyn on 10/17/2014
Terrible product. Directions were poor for preparation. Didn't bake
properly no matter how hard I tried. Even checked with another of
your customers and she was also unsuccessful with it. Should be a negative star rating.
by Jill on 3/15/2015
Not very good at all. Cardboard like.
Never again
by Michelle on 7/16/2015
Taste like cardboard. The worst product from Protidiet.
