Directions

    I made these this morning with Walden Farms Maple syrup and they are just as satisfying and filling as a bakery fresh blueberry muffin without all the sugars and a good amount of protein.

    I have bought a lot of different products and all in all they are pretty good. This, however, was disgusting. I had to spit it out and send it back. Sorry, but they tasted awful even with the delicious syrup that they sell.

    This product is high in protein...which I like. I add an egg white and a tablespoon of regular pancake batter to this dry mix in addition to the water it calls for. This gives it a "little" more texture to the pancake. I also top it with fresh/frozen strawberries (to which I have added a little sweetner).

    With a Little Tweaking...

    they are actually enjoyable. I made them according to the package, with 1.7oz. of water. Way too runny for pancake batter. So I added a couple of TBSP of almond flour (yes, yes, it increases calories but it also increases protein and I only have these every couple of weeks) Let it sit for about a min or so and cook in a hot non-stick pan. More dense, but I actually liked it. Next time I might add some fresh blueberries. All in all, I can see myself buying this again. (I wonder how this would do as a base for a muffin?)

    Yes very good! Warm your light syrup up and have it ready so when your pancake is done it won,t get cold. Also you can add a little cinnamon and a few fresh Blueberries. If it does get cold nucke it for just 10 seconds till warm. I love these.

    I thought it tasted pretty good with some syrup on it. It was a little tough but still ok. I'm going to put a little lite cream cheese on top tomorrow. I'm so tired of eggs and it was a nice change.

    these are not very fluffy but I find that these taste great I like the blueberry ones they - are easy to make and are a good satisfying breakfast - it is a little sweet so I don't put anything on it - just eat it plain

    Pancake Taco

    I love both plain and Blueberry....I make it in a 4" pan, stove top, when done, I put a banana in the center and eat it like a 'taco', or
    I put unsweetened Applesauce on it, or, sugar/free Caramel or Chocolate "Smuckers" on it. Whatever u like.....be creative.
