Directions

  1. Preheat a non-stick pan on medium-low heat (or lightly grease pan with a fat-free cooking spray).
  2. Empty the contents of one packet into a small mixing bowl. Add 1/4 cup (2 oz.) of water and mix. Let stand 1 minute. Batter will be thick and slightly bubbly.
  3. Pour batter into preheated pan to make 2-3 pancakes. Cook until bubbles break on surface and edges are slightly dry.
  4. Turn and cook until bottom is golden brown.

    These are really good with sugar free syrup, love them and wish I had the time to make them more mornings! Sometimes I make them at home and bring them to work -- heat them up real quick so I can enjoy them at work. Makes 3 small pancakes that do satisfy me.

    These are a GREAT high-protein pancake! I saw some reviews that said they were heavy, well, they are going to be, they are high in protein. The taste and texture are awesome in my book. I'm a 3 year out gastric bypass person. I'm always on the lookout for good alternatives to the high carb food we shouldn't eat and these pass my test.

    I found these to be bland on their own. I added vanilla and stevia and pulled in blueberries from mid morning to make a modified blueberry pancake.

    Make sure you let them sit for a 1-2 minutes to get bubbly before cooking. This allows for a fluffier pancake. I also experimented to make a muffin as one reviewer suggested by combining with the oatmeal . I still added vanilla and stevia to this. I divided them up into 6 muffins, froze them and then nuke 2 at a time for breakfast with a shake...

    But by themselves - these didn't work for me. I'm giving them 4 stars because once I figured it out - these are a real treat.

    I was looking for ways to have guiltless treats and found these pancakes. I prepare the mix and put it in my Wolfgang Puck Bravo and make 2 huge muffins, sometimes I add dried blueberries or cinnamon...you could add anything. Afterwards, I have two huge muffins and sometimes I pour sugar free syrup over them. I cannot believe that this is dieting. When I am eating my muffins, I do not miss IHOPS!

    I made these this morning. They smelt great. I was excited to try them. And then I actually did. GAG! These were horrible! I am thinking of sending these back and getting an exchange. I have a scratch protein recipe that is similar in nutritional value that is 100% better than this. I am going to try it one more time, adding some cinnamon and vanilla next time. If that doesn't work, these are going back to stay, forever and ever.

    Good pancakes, decent serving size

    The batter if fluffy and bubbly and produces 3 decent size pancakes (bigger than silver dollar, smaller than my plate). They're pretty tasty too--i enjoyed mine with some Walden Farms syrup.

    My one complaint (and its really my own fault), was that I was expecting them to taste like corn-griddle cakes. I supposed I misunderstood "hot cakes" and was disappointed that they were just delicious pancakes.

    I do think I enjoyed the chocolate chip pancakes made by Bariwise(?) a bit more than these--and they had a few less calories. I'm probably going to stick to that brand of pancake going forward. But these were really delicious.

    LOVE these pancakes! I actually can't wait to have one in the morning. I add blueberries, nuts and sometimes but banana's on them. Also, I use Agave Nectar as my syrup (just a little bit). SO GOOD!!! YUM!

    These pancakes are so good. . I think I'll keep eating them even after I lose all the weight I need to and I'm just about there. So tasty and light. FABULOUS!!
