Good Value
by Lanie on 4/21/2013
I haven't tried this product yet, but I wanted to point out that as a meal replacement its a great value. With a 24 "meal" container selling for $37.99 that works out to $1.58 per meal. Wow! I wish I could feed my family dinner each night for $1.58 each! Hmm... I wonder if my hubby would drink this as a nutritious on the go breakfast rather than skipping breakfast like he usually does? Well, I plan to try this product myself at least. Its a good value, has more protein than many of the other meal replacement products for sale, it has more vitamins (both in variety and in dose) than many of the meal replacements out there, it has some fiber (I wish there was more fiber, but again, many meal replacements don't have any fiber at all,) and its low carb. Add in a scoop of Bariatric Advantage's unflavored Calcium Crystals and nutritionally this would be hard to beat! Nutritionally, this product is comparable to Bariatric Advantage's Meal Replacement Shake but their product costs $3.25/meal. Wonderslim's well loved shake/pudding meal replacement packets would require 2 packets per meal to provide a comparable amount of protein. Even at the current sale price of $10.99 per 7 packet box, that works out to $2.99 per meal and would deliver 80 more calories in that meal (something most of us would prefer to do without I believe). So I'm giving 5 stars for nutritional content and value! If I change my mind after drinking a few of these, I will come back and revise my opinion. But I highly doubt I will need to do that! :)
Great Flavor!

Just tried a sample packet of the chocolate mouse. Added skim milk and it make a nice thick shake. Tastes great, not chalky, more of a malted milk taste than chocolate. Didn't even notice there was no added sweetener. Going to order more and looking forward to results. Will rate again after 2 weeks on product.
Excellent product!

Just tried the Chocolate Mousse...and while it tastes very much like malted milk...it's delicious! I used water and some cracked ice in the blender, and it blended into a nice thick shake. I'm looking forward to trying the other favors. In terms of protein and other vitamins, I think this is a great product.

After finally searching for a meal replacement shake, I come across this. I add a few strawberries and some silk almond milk and it taste great and it keeps me full. I just ordered my second tub, I highly recommened. I haven't tried the other flavors but Strawberry shortcake is my favorite!

For the last month or so, I have been using the Strawberry Shortcake and the Orange Cream, at different times of course, for my meal replacement. At first I was using wholeand 2% milk, which made the shakes a little heavy. I am now using unsweeten almond milk with a haf cup of ice. and it is amazing. both are even better when you freeze them.
Drinkable for the most part...

I've had worse. With water it just about average. Tastes better with milk or almond milk, but do not use more than 6 oz liquid with one full scoop, otherwise, the taste is seriously watered down and you will need to add more powder to compensate. I wish the flavor was more satisfying, but I love the protein levels so I guess it sort of balanced out. Adding fruit and blending helps improve the taste significantly. I finished sooner than I would have like it to.

not what i was expecting. does not have that strawberry punch I was looking for. Mixes well in blender with fresh fruit for more flavor.not sure if I will buy again
