| Review Posted by Kim on 9/8/2008 10:10:21 AM | Overall: 1 out of 5 | Quality: 1 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 1 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 1 out of 5 | | Comments: I tried this for the first time last night and was totally disappointed. The texture, taste and appearance are enough to ruin your appetite. It is a shame that this is included in the starterkit as it could really be a turnoff to the program. I would recommend that you lose this item! | | |
| Review Posted by MS on 8/7/2008 11:38:24 PM | Overall: 4 out of 5 | Quality: 4 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 4 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 4 out of 5 | | Comments: Actually I didn't think this product was that bad. I did have to cook it more than what was suggested to get it thicken up. It was sort of like soft stuffing mix in texture. Overall though it wasn't bad. I'm going to try seasoning it a bit next time. | | |

| Review Posted by Sean on 7/3/2008 2:35:23 PM | Overall: 1 out of 5 | Quality: 4 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 5 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 1 out of 5 | | Comments: I have to go along with the majority of reviewers who found this entree to be disgusting. I got it as a sample, and I'm glad I didn't purchase a whole box. I love the vast majority of the products I've purchased through Diet Direct, but this was kind of mushy and gross. I dumped some hot sauce on it and choked it down, but I won't be ordering any more. | | |
| Review Posted by Kimberly on 6/10/2008 6:48:05 AM | Overall: 1 out of 5 | Quality: 1 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 1 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 1 out of 5 | | Comments: I was looking forward to this meal but it looked disgusting and while I tried to choke it back I could not stomach it. Not what I was expecting at all. The texture is not the best either. | | |
| Review Posted by Renee on 5/21/2008 8:48:55 PM | Overall: 5 out of 5 | Quality 5 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 5 out of 5 | 5 out of 5 | | Comments: It just goes to show that taste varies. I am surprised to see that several people are not fond of this entree. I really really like it. To me, it's very 'chickeny'. I usually add a couple of dashes garlic powder, cayenne pepper and some dried thyme. Sometimes I add a little bit of frozen mixed veggies before I prepare it and voila, delicious. I have even added curry powder to it, and that's also yummy. I love the tender texture, it's not chewy or rubbery like other chicken substitutes that I have had in the past. | | |
| Review Posted by Kerry on 4/7/2008 3:56:33 PM | Overall: 2 out of 5 | Quality: 2 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 5 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 3 out of 5 | | Comments: The flavor is much better than most protein powder meals (ie mac n cheese or chili).
The texture could you a lot of help.
I also suggest getting a free sample first. | | |
| Review Posted by Joe B on 3/31/2008 9:21:21 PM | Overall: 2 out of 5 | Quality: 3 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 2 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 2 out of 5 | | Comments: I have been eating these protein products for 8 months and lost 75 pounds. I like 90% of the products but this isn't one of them. The texture of the "simulated" chicken is not appetizing for me at all. Maybe others will like it. I recommend trying the sample first and see if you like them. | | |
| Review Posted by Kendra Simpson on 3/13/2008 11:02:37 PM | Overall: 1 out of 5 | Quality: 1 out of 5 | Effectiveness: 1 out of 5 | Satisfaction: 1 out of 5 | | Comments: I disagree with the posted review. This is a horrible meal. I ordered two boxes because of the glowing review posted on the website. I can hardly choke them down. I have tried to add additional spices and vegetables and it is still beyond help. I am not sure if I should just choke them down because I paid for them, pay to return them or just throw them away. | | |
