This is terrible. I needed extra protein after bypass surgery, and couldn't tolerate chocolate drinks anymore, but this is disgusting. I tried it diluted with 4 oz of cold water and chased with v-8 juice as suggested but gagged and could not get it down. I want my money back. Unable to drink

Yes, it tastes terrible; but the benefits far outweigh the bad taste. My husband and I drink the dose of ProStat, then immediately drink a glass of V-8 juice right behind it. The V-8 is strong enough to cut the bad taste. I've also chased it with orange juice, tomato juice -- any strong juice works for us; we just prefer the V-8 -- a dose of protein and veggies all at once!

It MUST be diluted and mixed with a powdered drink mix!!!

The ONLY reason I didn't give it 1 star was because it's an easy way to get 15g of protein. BUT, IT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! (Wild Cherry flavor, I haven't tried the others) It is SOOOO overwhelmingly strong and horrible that the only way I can drink it is to dilute it with 3-4 oz. of water, and add a STRONG FLAVORED powdered drink mix (I like to use Crystal Light's Raspberry Lemonade). It covers most of the nasty flavor.

Allergen Free Supplement!!

I have allergies to wheat, soy, gluten, egg and dairy (whey, casein), so conventional protein supplements are not an option. I've been using Pro-Stat 64 for several months now with no side effects at all. I started with Pro-Stat 101 because I needed to gain some weight, but switched to Pro-Stat 64. The 101 is thick like honey and the 64 is a little less viscous. I've found the best way to drink it is to dilute it with water--2 parts water, 1 part Pro-Stat. It's best to use it early in the day so that you can drink plenty of water afterward. Given that it is so dense, it will dehydrate you quickly.
I lift weights, so I need the extra protein for proper recovery. My daily dose is 3.5 tablespoons, which yields ~50 grams of instantly absorbed protein. If you are looking for a protein supplement with none of the most common allergens in the ingredients, this is it.

good stuff

I've been taking this stuff for about a month now and I can say it works pretty good. At first I tried this liquid whey protein that's made by Body Fortress. The stuff started giving me horrible diarrhea after a month. So I stopped that and looked for something else. I knew the powder stuff just wasn't working for me. Then I found this stuff on the internet and it didn't mention anything about "whey protein" so I thought I'd try it. Works great! I have a hard time healing because I have a liver problem but adding protein helps a lot. I'm gonna buy another bottle right now.
PS, I don't really think the AWC one is really worth the extra price, but if you need a few extra calories, then have at it.
