These are completely nasty. At first it tastes like colored water. Something like Gatorade. But then the flavor turns on you with a pasty like aftertaste. It's hard to describe but I will never buy these again. I bought two and managed to force down the first but haven't been able to even open the second. (Updated on 8/18/2011.)

This is a good drink. Used to get it from GNC, but it is much handier getting it from here. The taste is great--especially the grape. Makes a nice way to get protein and handy to take along with you when you are out and about.

I tried these and it was horrible! It had a nasty grainy taste to it and it stuck to the top your your mouth. The taste was ok, but the grainy taste is not worth it.

This product tastes just fine! Any person who hates it, or wouldn't recommend it, would simply not like any type of water protein drink, and would probably do better with the shakes. These are going to have a bit of an aftertaste, but as a previous review commented, most protein drinks will. Protein has a slight texture and taste, but it shouldn't be a turn off. It's just something you kind of expect. These flavors are pretty tasty, but I'd prefer them to be 10 to 12 ounces. With a small light carb snack, you'd easily have a meal replacement!

Wow! I was really surprised with these. Yes they have a bit of an aftertaste but most protein/low carb things do. I use this in place of my water when taking walks or working out and they are great. I love the low cals they offer as most protein waters are much higher.

This is a 60 calorie protein drink that is great for on the go, keep in your car, or golf cart. It is much better when cold. It has a slight chalky taste but the fruitiness to it makes it really tolerable. I like them and plan on ordering more when they are on sale. They are expensive but convenient. I like both flavors, but grape is my favorite.

I tried the grape and was pleased. It does make me a little thirsty - kind of like a glass of lemonaide, but it taste good. I am ordering more and I will add the Alpine Punch in this time, just to see if it is good, too.

Seeing that there were only two reviews --1 negative and 1 positive -- I could not make much of a determination on whether I should/should not purchase. So, given my positive past experiences in ordering products from this site, I will give both flavors a try. I really prefer RTD protein drinks and I might as well see if I can add these to my list. Will report my findings after I've tried them.
