I like the fact that this is whey protein and so handy to just grab and take with you, BUT it is a lot easier to add a little Splenda to something if you want it sweeter, than it is to try to take it out. It is just too sweet. Can they make it less sweet, please? (Updated on 8/9/2010.)

I do admit these have some aftertaste BUT if you are needing a quick shot of protein to satiate your hunger and keep you going, these are the best! We add them to one or two large glasses of (no sugar, low carb) pink lemonade and other flavored drinks and sip on them or slam them for a quick fix! Alone or mixed in something, these shots rock and are a must have. Try mixing some with a protein shake for a great boost in protein!

I still like the product, but I prefer the old containers. They are cleaner and don't have an extra seal to take of once you break the security seal and open the cap. I also liked the shape better. The new ones are sweeter, I'm not sure...

A tube of this will keep you cranking for at least 4-5 hours of energy. Great for fast meals on the go. I upped my weight lost by replacing 3 meals a week with one of these --really help the pounds fall off, plus I'm a swimmer and this is like an instant powerhoue for me before I swim laps. Tastes too sweet on its own, so I mix it with equal parts water over ice. There is a slight protein after taste to it, but follow that with straight water and you'll be fine. As far as the packaging not being biodegradable, I use the tubes for many other things: storing flash drives, make-up, hair accessories, toy parts, carrying salad dressing to work. They are very travel friendly, which is important if you're a bicyclist or airline traveler -- no leaks! I pack these in my luggage. (Updated on 4/28/2009.)

This is a very good product for those of us who don't have enough time to eat...it is a great meal replacement. I wish it wasn't quite so sweet!! I will follow it with lots of water..or add it to a 16 oz bottle of water. The plastic is very hard..I am concerned about it not being biodegradeable. The packing definitely must be changed for the environment.
