This thing works great for mixing the powder because let's be honest who likes to get chunks when you're drinking a protein drink? Well worth the money (and it's not that expensive), does the job well, highly recommended!

I actually have the shorter version of this, I think it holds 12 or 16 ozs instead of the 28 here, but it's the same shaker otherwise. Actually, I have three of these. Two are this exact brand, but I like said they are smaller. Picked them up at a national vitamin store that has gold cards- we all know the one. They were a gold card special for buying another product, and if I got one at something like a couple of bucks, the other was free. Thought, hey why not? The other one came with an intro package from the OTHER diet drink company. Theirs is the same concept as this- but not this brand. And it sucks terribly. But these are great! The only thing I have to say is that it's imperative that you rinse your shaker/ball/lid (or wash if you can) as soon as possible after you have your shake. The ball and crevices in the lid/shaker bottle tend to accumulate shake debris if not. I haven't tried it to blend soups and puddings because until I came here and read it from others the thought never occurred to me. I have used it to blend shakes and the hot drinks (be sure to vent the lid right away after a few shakes- hot liquids build up steam/pressure and the lid might pop open on you unexpectedly if you don't) and it works like a charm for those things.

The blender bottle works very great, it mixes the soup powders & hot cocoa great then I heat it after it is thoroughly mixed. I haven't tried it with the puddings yet, I would like too but I'm afraid I will loose too much of my pudding if it sticks to the blender ball.

I can't believe how such a simple thing makes blending up the shakes a snap. I used to hate the idea of mixing my shake up in the office, car, or even at home without a blender ... now I have my shakes anytime and anywhere I need the protein boost. Five shakes of the bottle and wella! The only thing I'd suggest a new customer is be very careful to hear & feel the lid click into place or plan to wear your shake. I learned really fast.

This works very well. I have seen this same product in a smaller versiion, I would like to see Diet Direct offer that one as well...the smaller one would suit me better for most drink mixes....but, YES, this is a great product/design...does what it's s'posed to!

Very nice, very sturdy and well made. I love this thing. This is the closest you can get to a mixer without using electricity. Not perfect (those powdered snacks are very stubborn) but SO much better than a regular shaker or a spoon. I have one at work and one at home and will definitely recommend.
