As with almost all the Bariwise products, I add (extra water) 20 oz of water and a dash of cremora (my big cheat) for a WON'T MISS every evening before bed. It fills me up and satisfies my sweet tooth.

Watch out for Aspartame

I have been ordering the hot chocolate drinks for a long time after searching for Aspartame free products. Some of these flavors are Aspartame free, and others are not, although it is just about impossible to see that. The mint hot chocolate has aspartame, not sucralose. The Chocolate Marshmallow has Sucralose. The website makes it very hard to tell which has the aspartame. Other than that, these are very tasty and loaded with protein.

First of all, I hesitate to say anything negative about a hot chocolate that has 15 grams of protein and only 80 calories, when six weeks ago I thought I could never enjoy hot chocolate on the particular diet I'm following. But that being said, before trying this I was using another brand that was much creamier and didn't use aspartame, and that's why I give it three starts. Good flavor, but kind of watery and for me, the aspartame is a less desirable sweetener in flavor and health effects than sucralose. It's good enough I would buy it again, but it could be better.
