The taste was a bit dry for me and you can taste the protein. I don't think I would buy them again. You can't taste the jelly at all only the peanut butter & protein.

I have tried about every meal replacement bar Diet Direct has to offer and these bars are not only packed with protein, but they are clearly the best tasting as well. I especially like and highly recommend you try the Cinnamon Raisin and I often purchase 6 to 8 boxes of that flavor at a time. The peanut butter is also very good. If you like your bars to have a little crunch try placing them in the fridge. A real treat with my morning coffee! (Updated on 11/28/2011.)

I recently wrote a review complaining that the lemon meringue bars were not like they used to be. That the last several times I had ordered them they tasted like cardboard and had less flavor. This last though was a surprise. the old flavor was back and most of the texture too. If they continue in this form I would most definitely recommend them. I am allergic to chocolate (gives me migraines)...so that eliminates most protein bars from my diet. This Crispy Bar is WONDERFUL...the crispy part eliminates the "tastes like cardboard" issue and the 160 calories for 15g of protein absolutely maximizes the nutritional benefits for the calories spent. I've tried so many, many bars over the years, but this one is so exceptional...and no sicky sweet aftertaste. I will order again, and again. Thank you for making this product available...and giving us a chocolate alternative!

I just received my order the other day which included the Chocolate Peanut Dream bar, which is one of my favorites. I first noticed that now the packaging is different. And then I noticed the size of the bar has changed, it is SMALLER! What happen to the Chocolate Peanut Dream bar. It used to be the best bar. It is not light and crispy like it used to be! Why did you change it? Bring back the original bar please!

I would definitely recommend the Cinnamon Raisin Bar. Unfortunately I'm traveling, and I only brought one bar along for a sample. I broke it in pieces so it lasted 4 days. If you like cinnamon, you'll love it. I found it very satisfying, and I'll definitely be buying more of these. Can't wait to get home, and have another bar!!! (Updated on 9/30/2011.)
